Maximize Nefer's performance with these tips!

Story Highlights
  • Nefers damage makes her the strongest Dendro ON-Field DPS
  • Players can expect strong performance even without her premium team.
  • Nefer is designed to be an on-field carry and a strong synergy with Lunar Bloom Team.

Nefer is the newest five-star Dendro main DPS catalyst user in Genshin Impact, released in Version 6.1. She deals huge lunar bloom damage with her special charge attacks. Nefer is a Sumeru character, but now she lives in Nod Krai and can increase the party’s Moonsign level by 1.

In this Genshin Impact Nefer build guide, we will cover her best kits, team comps, weapons, and artifact sets.

Genshin Impact Nefer Build Guide: Kit Explained

Nefer is a Lunar Bloom on-field main DPS; she deals AOE Dendro damage with her elemental burst and deals massive Lunar Bloom damage with her special charge attack. Nefer enters her special Shadow Dance state when you use her elemental skill, and she uses her special charge attack to unleash Lunar Bloom damage.

In this state, she creates Seeds of Deceit instead of Dendro cores, and when you use her charge attacks, she consumes Seeds of Deceit, and she gains Veil of Falsehood, which increases her charge attack damage and her elemental burst damage.

After using Nefer’s skill, you can use her special charge attack three times if your team has three Verdant Dew. To get Verdant Dew, you have to do lunar reactions. Nefer’s kit is complex, but once you understand her kits, she can give you massive damage output, and you can clear your end-game contents like Imaginarium Theatre, Spiral Abyss, and Stygian Onslaught with ease.

Genshin Impact Nefer Build Guide: Constellations

Constellations Effects
C1Increase her Lunar Bloom damage by 60% based on her elemental mastery and damage boosted further by her Veil of Falsehood. If your account doesn’t have Lauma, then this constellation is very important for your Nefer.
C2Nefer Veil of Falsehood state duration will be increased by 5 seconds, and increase stack limit from 3 to 5. Her elemental skill damage will be increased by 140% and when her Veil of Falsehood reaches 5 stacks, she will get 200 em. C2 gives her a huge buff, so if you want to make your Nefer strong, but don’t want to c6 her, then you can stop here and save resources for other characters.
C3Nefer’s elemental skill level will be increased by +3
C4This constellation increases Verdant Dew generation by 25% and also reduces nearby enemies’ Dendro res by 20%, but you have to stay near enemies; otherwise, res shred will be removed. Useful but not necessary.
C5Nefer’s elemental burst level will be increased by +3
C6After using her elemental skill, she will deal an extra 85% AoE Dendro damage based on her elemental mastery.
Her burst damage will also increase by 120% based on her elemental mastery. If
your team has 2 or more Nod krai characters, then Nefer Lunar Bloom damage will be increased by 15%. Like her C2 constellation, this constellation will significantly increase her damage.

Nefer is already an excellent damage dealer at C0, but if your account doesn’t have Lauma, then you can go for her C1, and her C2 increases her damage noticeably; the rest of the constellation are

Best Team Comps for Nefer in Genshin Impact

TeamCharacters
Premium TeamNefer, Lauma,
Nahida, C6 Aino
F2P TeamNefer, Any Off-Field Dendro applier,
Sucrose, Aino

Premium Team

The best team for Nefer is her premium team. In this team, Nefer can easily deal 200k+ damage without any food buff or domain buff. Lauma will be our first sub DPS in this team, and she will support us too by reducing opponents’ Dendro resistance by 25%, increasing lunar bloom crit rate by 10%, and her burst will buff the whole team’s Lunar bloom reaction.

Nahida will be our second sub DPS. She will give us some em buff, and her burst will increase damage by 20%. Aino C6 will give 80em and a 35% Lunar Damage bonus. Below is the optimal Team Rotation:

Nahida Skill>Burst>Aino Skill>Burst>Lauma Burst>Skill>Nefer Skill>3Normal Attack>Charge Attack

F2P Team

This team performs very well even without the Nefer team core members. The best part of this team is that the team doesn’t need a heavy Investment. Even with level 60 support characters, you can do very good damage. Aino with the Silken Moon Serenade set provides us 120 em buff and a 10% lunar damage bonus.

Sucrose with the Instructor set provides 120 em buff, and Sucrose passive talent will give us 20% em buff based on Sucrose elemental mastery. I will recommend that you use an off-field healer unit who can apply Dendro, too, like Yaoyao or Baizhu. Below is the optimal Team Rotation:

Dendro Applier Burst>Skill>Aino Skill>Burst>Sucrose Skill>Nefer Skill>3Normal Attack>Charge Attack

Is Nefer worth pulling in Genshin Impact

If you’re looking for a strong Dendro On Field DPS, then go for her. At first, her kit may look complex, but over time, you will understand how her kit works, and building her is easier than other Dendro DPS. Her team can work fine even with low investment.
