Perils in the Dark is the third part of The Chasm Delvers World Questline. It continues where The Heavenly Stone’s Debris left off. To start with this quest, players need to reach Adventure Rank 28+ and complete The Heavenly Stone’s Debris of The Chasm Delvers Quest Chain. After unlocking the quest, the walkthrough is not quite easy. Our step-to-step guide will assist you with every detail and get Genshin Impact Perils in the Dark World Quest completed in minutes.
How to complete The Perils in the Dark World Quest in Genshin Impact
After completing the previous world quest, players will automatically get Perils in the Dark world quest. Head South and go deeper into The Chasm to enter the hole. After entering the Nameless Ruins, interact with Dainsleif, and players will receive the achievement “When One Gazes into the Abyss.”
Now players need to unlock the nearby waypoint & glide northwest. Remove the purple blob with Lumenstone Adjuvant (at least Level 2). Also, players can charge up their gadgets with a nearby Seelie. Look for the clues in the dark fog. Now players need to interact with the Fatuus’ Journal on the floor and more areas will be revealed.
Ringing the bell in ruins (1/2)
Players have to teleport to Story Hall’s south waypoint and head South using the quest navigator. Unlock the waypoint along the way and keep heading South towards the quest location. Players will get face to face with the ruin grader. Battle it out with the ruin grader, defeat it and turn left to go up to the higher platform.
Players can recharge the mechanism to use it to recharge their gadgets later on. Now, remove the purple blob so that the torch no longer gets covered by the purple blob. Keep following the Seelie until both seelies meet each other.
Players need to move both seelies in the opposite direction and stand beside the stone torch in the middle with the charged gadget to get the precious chest. There will be a wind current and a Seelie after opening the precious chest. Players will glide up to the higher platform.
Stand beside the stone torch on the other side of the Seelie to remove the seal on the mechanism. After opening the gate, jump down, and players will face the ruined grader again. Defeat the ruin grader and hit the first bell behind the ruin grader with a normal attack, and part 1 is done now.
Ringing the bell in ruins (2/2)
For part 2, players need to teleport back to Stony Hall’s south waypoint and head northwest. Keep moving northwest, and players will face the ruin grader. Defeat the ruin grader and move forward. Face another level 93 enemy on the way and defeat him, too. After that, unlock the waypoint and glide in the northwest direction only.
Players need to recharge the machine when they reach the quest area. Follow the Seelie back to its court. Players will have to climb up the higher platform and defeat the Pyro Abyss mage. Make sure that players recharge the root within the gadget.
Go down to the lower platform and recharge the gadget with the Seelie court. After this, players need to go back up to remove the purple blob with the gadget. After removing the seal on all 4 mechanisms, 2 shadowy husks will appear. Face the 2 shadowy husks and defeat them to get to the bell. Ring the bell to complete part 2 of the bell quest.
Approach the dark fog
Continue with this world quest by teleporting back to Stony Hall’s south waypoint again and moving northwest. When players approach the dark fog, the Pyro and the Electro Abyss will appear on the way. Fight it out and defeat them.
Defeat the Abyss Lector
Move forward and face the Abyss Lector. Battle it out and defeat the Abyss Lector. Players will now unlock the achievement “Birth Pains of the Dark Fog.” Interact with the glowing object on the ground to complete the world quest. Players will also receive a curious cube, which is needed for the next world quest.
The Perils in the Dark World Quest is now complete, and in total, players will receive rewards, namely Adventure EXP ×450, Primogem ×50, Mora ×50000, Hero’s Wit ×5, and Mystic Enhancement Ore ×6.
