Genshin Impact Spectral Secrets: Event Overview
- Unlocking Criteria: Adventure Rank 30 or above, complete the Archon Quest Ritou Escape Plan.
- Event Duration: September 19, 2021 10:00:00 to September 26, 2021
- Reward Collection Time: September 19, 2021 10:00:00 to September 29, 2021 03:59:59
Spectral Secrets is the event that introduces the latest monsters Specters. During this event, Katheryne will release seven investigation expeditions daily, out of which travelers can select four. Rewards for these events include Primogems, Mora, and much more. However, the rewards for each expedition are different, so make sure you check what you need.
Team Selection and Rewards
For each expedition, players need to send a minimum of 2 characters and the maximum number of characters that can be dispatched is 4. Each expedition has recommended elements that increase the chance of getting the reward as shown by the expedition rating.
Remember to maximize the rating before sending out your characters, to ensure maximum benefits. Players can also get their in-game friends to help. Their characters can also be added to the expedition as supporting characters and increase the players’ bonuses even further.
Expedition Ranks
Every expedition has its own rank ranking and expeditions reset daily.

A-Rank and B-Rank commissions are unlocked. To unlock the S-Rank expedition commission, travelers need to complete the open-world challenge ‘Preliminary Investigation‘.
For Preliminary Investigation, players need to light three electric lamps by using Electrograna and then defeat the 8 specters that are spawned. Complete the challenge and head back to the Adventurer’s Guild to start the expedition.
Characters can’t be sent on two expeditions at the same time. Characters cannot be simultaneously dispatched to both regular expeditions and Spectral Secrets event expeditions.
How to choose the expeditions in Genshin Impact Spectral Secrets event
To get the maximum amount of Primogems, choose the S-Rank commission, both the A-Rank commission and any B-Rank commission.
To choose among the B-Rank commissions, players need to see the secondary rewards being offered and choose the commission based on their needs.
