This article is a preparation guide for Inazuma in Genshin Impact 2.0 with including the do’s and don’ts. Inazuma will bring 6 islands out of which 3 will be released in Patch 2.0 arriving on July 21. Here travelers will have a lot of areas to explore. Similar to other regions, Inazuma is slated to have new enemies, domains (artifacts and talent books), and chests. New characters from this region will use materials from these domains.
Genshin Impact 2.0 preparation guide: What to seek in the Inazuma update
Golden Apple Archipelago
The Golden Apple Archipelago region will be removed after the patch 2.0 update. With this removal, the chests will no longer be available, so obtain all the rewards before they are gone forever.
The Echoing Conch can be used to claim rewards from the Echoing Tales event shop. These rewards from the event include 420 Primogems, summer skin for Barbara, Mora, hero’s wit, Mystic Enhancement ore, and talent books.
For the location of all the echoing conches, you can use the available interactive map on the HoYoLAB website and app.
Experience Books
Leveling one character from level 1 to level 80 requires 247 Hero’s wits. If one is planning to pull characters and is short on character exp material is now the best time to farm exp leylines.
Prototype Billets
The update is going to bring some new customizable weapons of all types.
The details for the new weapons have not been released yet. Although, saving the billets is advised to not miss on potential weapons. If the weapons don’t turn out to be good for your set of characters, the players can anyway forge the older weapons.
Mystic Enhancement Ores
The Mystic enhancement ore is used to level up weapons and grow crystal chunks for players. The players get a daily limit of 30 ores, so crafting them earlier will save both time and realm currency.
Resin
Resin is undoubtedly the most important possession of a player in Genshin Impact. The best advice before Inazuma arrives is to save fragile, transient, and condensed resin for the new content.
Genshin Impact 2.0 preparation guide: What to avoid in Inazuma update
Weekly Boss
Don’t fight the weekly boss, as the new battle pass will come with the update. Saving battle pass experience will give players a head start. The new Shimenawa’s Reminiscence artifact set can replace Gladiators Finale (only for a 2 Piece bonus) which is why players are not recommended farming the weekly boss for artifacts.
Reputation System
- Like Liyue and Mondstat, Inazuma is also going to have a reputation system.
- There are 3 bounties and requests that can be shared across the regions to have faster progress. It’s advisable to do the bounties and requests once the update drops.
- This tip is applicable only if players have reached the max reputation level (Level 8) in both Liyue and Mondstat.
Realm Currency
In Genshin 2.0 update, we are getting the ability to grow local specialties inside the teapot. To have this option, players have to buy farming plots from Realm Depot. There could be new furnishing items and sets, as there are four new types of woods specific to Inazuma. So, save realm currency and obtain the farming land and new blueprints on the first day of the update.
Boss Materials and Talent Books
Characters hailing from Inazuma will use boss materials from the region itself. So, it is a futile exercise claiming rewards from Liyue and Mondstat bosses. Fragments and chunks for ascension can be obtained from the new bosses, thus players can farm them after the update.
