How to unlock the Tighnari story quest in Genshin Impact
To unlock the quest players must be adventure rank 40 or above. Completion of archon quest Chapter 3: Act II – The Morn a thousand roses brings 1x story key (can be obtained by completing 8 daily commissions). Tighnari’s story quest is further divided into 3 arcs. Follow the steps given below to complete the quest:
Tighnari story quest Arc – I: The start of contamination
- Talk to Katheryn in Sumeru, players can find her in Sumeru City.
- Head towards the Ghandharva Ville and interact with Tighnari.
- Buy Vasanti grass from a traveling merchant.
- Gather information about the Forest from nearby NPCs.
- After gathering information, discuss with the merchant what to do.
- Go to the place where the robbery took place
- Follow the Sumpter beast.
- Defeat the mechanical Crab
- Give the mechanical parts back to the merchant.
- After giving the mechanical parts to the merchant go back to the Avadya forest to heal Yara.

Tighnari Story Quest Arc – II: Into the Hitherland
- Look for the mechanical crab.
- Set off for the contaminated region and head forward in the depths of contaminated regions
- Install a purification device.
- Defeat the nearby mechanical monsters and talk to the trapped person.
- Look for a spot to set a tent.
- Retrieve the pest repelling devices and go to the depths of the contaminated region.

- After turning off the ley line extractor head back to the lab.
- Check on the ley line extractor.
- Report the situation to Katherine in Sumeru and wait till 8:00-12:00 the next day.
