NBA Live Mobile 21 TOTY (Team of the Year) Guide

The most awaited event in the NBA Live Mobile Calendar is finally here. NBA Live Mobile 21 TOTY alias the NBA Live Team of the Year live. With the Milwaukee Bucks taking home the NBA title this year, marked the end of the NBA 2020-21 season. Every year EA celebrates the top performers of the previous calendar year by paying homage to them in form of the Team of the Year event. And this time there are different Blitz events for every position! There are a total of 6 TOTY Masters that can be earned by grinding this event.

NBA Live Mobile 21 TOTY Event Description

• Event Duration: 21st July – 4th August (15 days)
• Free packs: 10x TOTY tokens from watching ads
• Coin Packs: 10 Coin Packs daily giving each 4x TOTY tokens and 1 Live Today trophies

NBA Mobile 21 TOTY Event Flow

Main

Entering the event players will see different Blitz events. There will be 5 Blitz events in all, for every position :

• Point Guard
• Shooting Guard
• Small Forward
• Power Forward
• Center

Blitz event for every position will reset every 24 hours. Players will earn the following after their first win of the blitz event of the specific position (PG, SG, SF, PF, C).

Position Blitz Pack

Earn Positions points and TOTY Token with a 5% chance at an 86-90 overall TOTY player of the specific position and Attribute Tokens used in TOTY master sets. Earn a 10% chance at 1x Accuracy and 1x Speed token, and keep earning additional points to reach milestones and unlock new events

There are also milestones for every Blitz event. In every milestone, players will earn 86-90 overall players of the particular position blitz event after every 2000 position points earned and 5K coins after every 4000 position points earned.

Position Specific Blitz Events

It’s time for the Team of the Year to join your lineups! There will be 4 position events in every blitz event (PG, SG, SF, PF, C). Earn 86-90 OVR TOTY Players and more to work your way towards 97 OVR Masters. On getting 3 Masters, you will earn the 99 OVR TOTY Grand Master! Each position event will unlock after every 6000 position points earned. Following will be the rewards for winning the position events ( listed for all 20 events).

Point Guard Blitz Event

• PG Event 1: 1x 87 OVR TOTY PG , 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY PG, 1x Vision token , 1x Speed token
• PG Event 2: 1x 88 OVR TOTY PG , 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY PG, 1x Vision token , 1x Speed token
• PG Event 3: 1x 89 OVR TOTY PG, 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY PG, 1x Vision token , 1x Speed token
• PG Event 4: 1x 90 OVR TOTY PG, 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY PG, 1x Vision token , 1x Speed token

Shooting Guard Blitz Event

• SG Event 1: 1x 87 OVR TOTY SG, 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY SG, 1x Accuracy token, 1x Speed token
• SG Event 2: 1x 88 OVR TOTY SG, 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY SG, 1x Accuracy token, 1x Speed token
• SG Event 3: 1x 89 OVR TOTY SG, 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY SG, 1x Accuracy token, 1x Speed token

Small Forward Blitz Event

Power Forward Blitz Event

Center Blitz Event

• C Event 3: 1x 89 OVR TOTY C, 1x 86-90 OVR TOTY C, 1x Vision token, 1x Strength token

Token Exchange Sets

Exchanging TOTY tokens will take players one step closer to complete their favorite master set. Here’s how to exchange tokens to earn players:

TOTY Token Exchange Sets

Exchange TOTY Tokens for TOTY players and exchange Attribute tokens for a selection of Attribute tokens.

• Turn in 20x TOTY tokens to earn an 86-90 OVR TOTY player
• Turn in 20x TOTY tokens and 5x Live Today trophies to earn an 86-90 OVR TOTY player position select pack

Keep completing these sets multiple times to earn enough players so as to exchange those cards in the following sets:

TOTY Player Exchange Sets

Exchange TOTY Players for another TOTY player or Attribute tokens for the master sets.

• Turn in 2x 86-90 OVR TOTY player for an 86-90 OVR TOTY player position select pack
• Turn in 5x 86-90 OVR TOTY players for 15 random attribute tokens that can be used in Masters set

To earn your favorite 97 OVR master player, a number of attribute tokens are required. And those can be earned by completing the following sets:

• TOTY PG Exchange: Trade in all the five 86-90 OVR TOTY Point Guard players for 15 Vision Tokens and 15 Speed Tokens
• TOTY SG Exchange: Trade in all the five 86-90 OVR TOTY Shooting Guard players for 15 Accuracy Tokens and 15 Speed Tokens
• TOTY SF Exchange: Trade in all the five 86-90 OVR TOTY Small Forward players for 15 Agility Tokens and 15 Accuracy Tokens
• TOTY PF Exchange: Trade in all the five 86-90 OVR TOTY Power Forward players for 15 Strength Tokens and 15 Agility Tokens
• TOTY C Exchange: Trade in all the five 86-90 OVR TOTY Center players for 15 Vision Tokens and 15 Strength Tokens

TOTY Master Sets

After completing enough sets and earning enough players and attribute tokens, players will have a guaranteed TOTY player in their lineup. Trade-in Attribute Tokens for TOTY Players for TOTY Masters. There are 6 Master TOTY players, here’s what’s required to earn them:

• 97 OVR PG Master Stephen Curry: Trade in 20 Vision Tokens, 20 Speed Tokens and 15 86-90 OVR TOTY players
• 97 OVR SG Master Bradley Beal: Trade in 20 Speed Tokens, 20 Accuracy Tokens and 15 86-90 OVR TOTY players
• 97 OVR SF Master LeBron James: Trade in 20 Accuracy Tokens, 20 Agility Tokens and 15 86-90 OVR TOTY players
• 97 OVR PF Master Julius Randle: Trade in 20 Agility Tokens, 20 Strength Tokens and 15 86-90 OVR TOTY players
• 97 OVR C Master Joel Embiid: Trade in 20 Strength Tokens, 20 Vision Tokens and 15 86-90 OVR TOTY players

Last but not least, you can trade any 3 of your 97 OVR TOTY Masters for the 99 OVR GrandMaster Luka Doncic and additionally, receive your players back

NBA Live Mobile 21 TOTY TOTY Event Tips and Tricks

As per our calculations, the following sums up the chances for F2P Players. The following calculations have been made on the average basis, i.e. average level: 50

Running the Math for F2P Players

Thus one can earn 16 TOTY Tokens and 1600 Position Points just from playing the event

Players can further increase their chance of getting the Master players by buying the store packs. The Packs can be bought either by using the in-game coins or watching ads.

Additionally, you can receive 22 TOTY Tokens from the store packs

It is recommended to spend only 30K coins in packs as after playing blitz event a maximum of 16 times, the total coins earned for playing will be 30K. This is a great strategy to make the most out of the event for F2P players as there will be no difference in the number of coins they had before and after.

Given we can earn a minimum of 38 TOTY Tokens daily from the event, therefore one can earn at least 570 Tokens, throughout the 15 days of the event.

After the calculations, the minimum amount of TOTY Tokens required to complete the sets will be 510, following the given strategy will provide an additional 60 Tokens which means 3 more packs to players to ensure their master players.

NBA Live Mobile 21 TOTY Event Players

These events that offer higher overall players are quite tough to grind most of the time. Players will have to play the events as much as possible. There are TOTY tokens available in the store which the players can buy through coins, credits, and watching ads.
