A new event, A Mystic Hero is now available in Pokémon GO. Players can now enjoy this all-new event, focused on research tasks and learning more about Pokémon Evolution.
Players would be getting particular field research tasks, event-exclusive special research, and much more bonuses. The event is available from April 13th (10 AM Local Time) to April 17th (8 PM Local Time).
Pokémon GO A Mystic Hero: Event Overview
Event Bonuses
- 2* XP for Evolving Pokémon: Trainers would earn 2 times the XP generally earned for evolving Pokémon.
- Two guaranteed Candy XL for evolving Pokémon: On evolving Pokémon, trainers would earn 2 XL candies along with the normal candy.
- Lure Modules for 3 hours: Lure Modules activated during this event would last for 3 hours instead of 30 mins.
Field Research Tasks and Rewards
Tasks involving catching and evolving Pokémon would be available during the event.
- Catch 3 Pokémon: 1* Metal Coat/ 1* Dragon Scale/1* King’s Rock/ 1* Sun Stone/ 1*Up-Grade.
- Catch 5 Pokémon: 1*Sinnoh Stone/ 1*Unova Stone.
- Evolve a Pokémon: 300 Stardust.
- Evolve 3 Pokémon: 1000 Stardust.
- Evolve 5 Pokémon: 2500 Stardust.
Event Exclusive Special Research
Special research will be featuring during this event. This Research will be available till the End of the Season i.e. June 1 2023 10 A.M. The final Reward of this Special Research is a Lapras-wearing Blanche-themed accessory. The Lapras can also be a shiny one.
Step 1
- Catch 15 Pokemon: 10 Pokeball.
- Use 10 Pinap Berry while catching Pokemon: 1000 Stardust.
- Make 10 Great Throws: 7 Pinap Berry.
Reward: Eevee and 1500 XP.
Step 2
- Evolve 5 Pokemon: 50 Eevee Candy.
- Use 15 Berry to help Catch Pokemon: 15 Pokeball.
- Catch 25 Pokémon: Shelmet.
Reward: Karrablast and 2000 XP.
Step 3
- Make 3 Excellent throws: 5000 Stardust.
- Earn 5 Candies walking with your buddy: 10 Razz Berry.
- Evolve 10 Pokemon: Inkay
Reward: Lapras with Blanche accessory and 2500 XP.
Step 4
Rewards: 1 Sinnoh Stone, 1 Unova Stone, 15 Ultra Balls, 2500 XP, and 1 Glacial Lure.
Timed Research
This Time Exclusive Research will be available only during the duration of the event. Upon completion, trainers will be rewarded with a Magnetic Lure.
Step 1
- Catch 5 Pokemon: 5 Pokeball
- Transfer 3 Pokemon: 5 Nanab Berry
- Evolve a Pokemon: 1000 Stardust
Rewards: 1000 XP, 500 Stardust, 2 Rare Candy.
Step 2
- Catch 10 Pokemon: 5 Pokeball
- Transfer 5 Pokemon: 5 Razz Berry
- Evolve 3 Pokemon: 3000 Stardust
Rewards: 2000 XP, 1000 Stardust, 2 Rare Candy.
Step 3
- Evolve a Pokemon: 10 Pinap Berry
- Evolve 2 Pokemon: 15 Pokeball
- Evolve 3 Pokemon: 15 Great Ball
- Evolve 4 Pokemon: 10 Ultra Ball
- Evolve 5 Pokemon: 3 Silver Pinap Berry
Rewards: 3000 XP, 2000 Stardust, 1 Magnetic Lure.
Final Thoughts
This event coincides with April Community Day. So, all the bonuses from the event would also be available during Community Day. These bonuses would help out Trainers as for the Community Day, trainers would have to use just 1 Lure Module, instead of 3/6 modules in general.
Also, trainers would be benefitting a lot from the XP bonus for evolving Pokémon and the XL candies would be additional benefits as well. Also, the Timed Research and Special Research would be rewarding players with some really important items. And the best part of the event is the chance to get a Shiny Lapras with Blanche-themed Accessory.
