Pokémon Go: Best Moveset and Counters for Mega Swampert

Guide for the best counters against Mega Swampert during Battle Raids!

Mega Swampert is a Mega Raid Boss and becomes bulkier than its normal form when it reaches its Mega evolution form. Its body and arms become more muscular and its legs stay small compared to its upper body. It has two orange paddings on each of its wrists along with another patch on its shoulder. Its paddings and gills also become darker in color. It is a pretty tough opponent and players will need to go in groups of 2 to 4 trainers to defeat it. In this Pokémon Go guide, we are going to talk about the best ways and counters to defeat Mega Swampert and finish the raid with as much ease as possible.

Mega Swampert in Pokémon Go

Mega Swampert is a dual-type Water and Ground-type Pokémon with a max CP of 7529 and is vulnerable towards only Grass-type counters but has a 2x weakness to it to have a bigger impact since it’s just one attack type. Because of the limited number of choices to bring forth in the battle against it, it might be difficult for new players to fight against it as they might not have the right counter or if they do have it, its level isn’t good enough to fight against Mega Swampert.

Heavy damage dealing Pokémon like Chandelure, Kartana, and Zarude are good enough options for seasoned players and new players alike as there is not much variety to choose from for this particular Pokémon. So players should try to include their highest level Pokémon in their team and try to dish out the right counters against Mega Swampert.
