It’s that time of the year and the Pokémon Unite dev team has announced the celebration of the game’s 3rd anniversary. The Pokémon Unite Dev team announced a series of special anniversary events, new Pokémon releases, and exciting surprises. In short, players would now enjoy using the new Pokémon Ho-Oh, as well as the return of the exciting Panic Parade event. With all these known, let’s check out in detail all that the Pokémon Unite 3rd anniversary celebration events have to offer.
Pokémon Unite 3rd Anniversary Celebration event kicks off in style
In celebration of the 3rd anniversary of Pokémon Unite which begins on July 19th 2024, the following exciting events will be available for players to participate in to gain awesome rewards.
New Pokémon Ho-Oh Commemorative event
In celebration of the release of the new Pokémon Ho-Oh, the devs have organized a Ho-Oh’s Divine Forest Challenge event. In participating in the event, players just have to progress through the maps and collect divine forest coins. Players can log in to obtain dice which can be rolled to advance in the event.
On rolling to each tile, players have to complete the assigned tile missions to be able to advance to the next square. Players would continually do this till they accumulate up to 1000 Divine Forest coins which can be used to exchange the new Unite license for Huh-Oh.
3rd Anniversary – Special Present event
Trainers just have to log in to the game between July 19th and September 2nd, 2024 to obtain an exclusive Special Present box containing Charizard License, Charizard exclusive sticker and some Aeos Coins.
Anniversary Cake Challenge event
This is the main 3rd Anniversary event which would showcase Pokémon Unite’s 3rd Anniversary Cake as well as other intriguing tasks and rewards necessary to collate and obtain all the rewards. Players just simply have to collect and accumulate the Frostings needed to create the 3rd Anniversary cake.
The main rewards available for grabs from the Cake Challenge event include exclusive 3rd Anniversary stickers, Frames, and Background effects. Other rewards include Dies, Battle point boost cards, Energy boost tanks, and 7-day limited licenses. There are also Silver Emblem Boxes, Item enhancers, and lots of Aeos tickets in store.
However, to increase one’s Frosting level and obtain these intriguing rewards, players can participate in some other sub-events like the Anniversary present event, Daily missions, and Ranked match missions.
Anniversary Present event
In the Anniversary present event, players can select a box to obtain the items inside as a gift. The items contained in the box include Frostings, boost cards, and lots more intriguing rewards. Players even stand a chance of selecting a box which grants a chance of selecting another box.
Daily Missions
In this section of the 3rd Anniversary celebration event, players can complete daily match tasks and even Special Missions to obtain Item Enhancers, Aeos tickets, and extra Frostings. The daily mission tasks include:
- Participate in 2 battles with Pokémon of different roles – 30 Frostings, 20 Aeos Tickets, 2 Item Enhancers
- Win a ranked match 1 time (0/1) – 30 Frostings, 20 Aeos Tickets, 2 Item Enhancers
- Pick up 3 Sitrus Berries (0/3) – 30 Frostings, 20 Aeos Tickets, 2 Item Enhancers
Ranked Match Missions
In this section of the 3rd Anniversary celebration event, players only have to participate in ranked matches to obtain Frostings. On completing 1 ranked match, players would be able to obtain 50 Frostings, on completing 10 ranked matches, they would get 500 Frostings in total. Thus, players can obtain 500 Frostings each week for the next 45 days of the 3rd Anniversary Celebration event.
Panic Parade event
Panic Parade is a returning PVE game mode in Pokémon Unite, It features a 5-player defense map where players have to defend Tinkaton, another Pokémon from waves of enemy Pokémon. This exciting game mode is expected to return and run from July 19th till September 4th, 2024.
