Starting December 5th, you can participate in the Mega Gyarados Master Angler Challenge Event to get its Unite License, Background, Frame, and many other exciting rewards for free. How to get the Mega Gyarados Unite License from the Master Angler Challenge Event
To get Mega Gyarados’ exclusive Unite License, you’d have to navigate to the Master Angler Challenge Event in the events tab. In this event, you have to fish for Magikarp in the Sea. To do this, you have to complete simple missions while collecting and accumulating Commemorative Coins. These coins can be used to redeem Mega Gyarados Unite License and other exclusive rewards.
The following are some tips to note while participating in the Master Angler Challenge event.
- During the event, you can log in daily and clear missions, granting you Fishing Rods needed for attempting Fishing challenges.
- By completing Fishing Challenges, you can obtain 5, 10, 15, or 20 Mega Gyarados Commemorative Coins. All rewards have an equal chance of 25%
- If you don’t want to participate in each of the tasks. You can use 5x Aeos Gems to instantly clear Daily missions. 10x Aeos Gems for each Weekly mission, while 5 Aeos Gems for Special Missions.
- You can use 120 Aeos Gems to rent a Great Rod, which will give you up to 50 Commemorative Coins.
Missions and Rewards in Mega Gyarados Challenge Event
To get Mega Gyarados Commemorative Coins, you’d need to complete some simple Login and match tasks. You will receive a Fishing Rod for Fishing in this Challenge event. The tasks are as follows:
- Log in to the Game (Daily) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Score a total of 80 Goals (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Log in a total of 7 Days (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Win 10 Battles (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Score a total of 3 Goals (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Make a total of 10 assists (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Log in a total of 3 days (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Use a Unite Move 3 times (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Participate in 3 battles with Pokémon of different roles (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Participate in 1 battle with Attacker-type Pokémon (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Participate in 1 battle with All-rounder type Pokémon (Special) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Participate in 2 battles with Attacker-type Pokémon (Daily) – 1 Fishing Rod
- Knock out a total of 15 Opposing Pokémon (Weekly) – 2 Fishing Rods
Exchangeable Rewards in Mega Gyarados Challenge Event
On accumulating enough Mega Gyarados Commemorative Coins, you’ll be able to exchange them for exciting new rewards. These rewards are highlighted below:
