PUBG Mobile x Evangelion Core Circle mode Guide and Tips

Newest mode in PUBG Mobile looks really interesting!

PUBG Mobile is again back with another collaboration with the famous Japanese manga series Evangelion for the 2.0 Update. This PUBG Mobile x Evangelion collaboration has brought a new themed mode in the game, which is named the Core Circle mode. Previously, PUBG Mobile had collaborated with the likes of Godzilla vs Kong movie, League of Legends: Arcane, and Spiderman: No Way Home movie. This latest collaboration will surely add a feather to their crown. This new mode is quite unusual and complex, because of some changes. In this article, we are going to discuss the new Core Circle themed mode of PUBG Mobile or BGMI and provide some tips and tricks to master it.

Evangelion in PUBG Mobile

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a Japanese mecha anime television series produced by Gainax and animated by Tatsunoko, directed by Hideaki Anno, and broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 1995 to March 1996. Evangelion is set fifteen years after a worldwide cataclysm, particularly in the futuristic fortified city of Tokyo-3.

The protagonist is Shinji Ikari, a teenage boy who was recruited by his father Gendo to the shadowy organization Nerv to pilot a giant bio-machine mecha named Evangelion into combat against beings known as Angels. PUBG Mobile has made a collaboration with this series, in the official 2.0 version update and created a new game mode called Core Circle.

PUBG Mobile x Evangelion Core Circle mode: Gameplay

This new mode is different from the previous modes. One match in this mode contains only 64 players. The most exciting part of this mode is that the size of the play-zone is very small, even at the start of the match. It is a war-mode type map with multiple new buildings.

There is a total of two kinds of buildings available on the map. Those are defense fortresses and EVA launch pads. A mechanized floating creature named the sixth angel, which looks like a crystal, roams around the Erangel. Its main objective is to destroy the defensive fortresses. The creature will eventually destroy all three of the defence fortresses.

Players can get a great number of loots from those ruins. After this massacre, the EVA – 01 unit, another giant robot pops up from the underground EVA launchpad. This robot searches for the sixth angel all over the map. After it spots the creature, it picks up a gigantic laser rifle, which is almost identical to the legendary AWM sniper rifle.

After picking up the weapon, it fights the alien crystal-like monster and eventually beats it with the laser beam. After defeating its opponent, the EVA-01 moves towards the water body and disappears in the water. Players can get good loots from those defensive fortresses’ wreckage and EVA launch pads. One must keep themselves away from the beams of the sixth angel since it can deal damage to the attacked player.

Since the event’s special buildings will be filled with good loots, players can expect many enemies to land with them and expect gunfight. The recall feature is also changed. Previously after death, the player’s teammates can recall them, by using the recall towers. In the new mode, the recall is automatic. After being eliminated, an aeroplane will fly across the map and players can jump from the plane, according to their wishes. They can be recalled without the help of their teammates. The recall feature is available for a limited time, i.e. starting and middle phase of the match.

Titles and Achievements

Every time, a new mode comes, more things are introduced in the game too. Those are new achievements and titles. In this mode, players will have to witness the fight between the EVA-01 and the sixth angel. They will also have to visit the EVA launch pad and defensive fortresses a total of three times. They will also have to open some hidden crates in the building wreckage. By completing these steps, a player can get 20 achievement points, a crate coupon code, and an epic title.
