PUBG Mobile, one of the world’s most popular battle royale mobile games, will host two League of Legends (LOL) stars, Zachary ‘Sneaky’ Scuder and Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, in a thrilling show match on the game’s new Arcane themed mode, Mirror World. Each star will team up with a League of Legends content creator, between Tyler 1 and Yassuo, and two top PUBG Mobile players, between pros Xifan and Karnage, and creators Rolex and Jacob Gaming, in a match also filled with 72 other popular PUBG MOBILE content creators.
A game mode inspired from the League of Legends (LOL)
The Mirror World game mode in PUBG Mobile introduces extensive elements from the world of Arcane, the new League of Legends animated series featured on Netflix. It includes locations, characters, and gameplay from the beloved universe. Players who land on Mirror Island can play as the iconic champions Jinx, Vi, Jayce, or Caitlyn, and use unique weapons and skills to battle against other players.
The LOL Stars will battle in a custom format in PUBG Mobile
Each former pro will lead a team of 4, battling on the floating island as either Jinx, Vi, Jayce, or Caitlyn. Those who fall will return to Erangel, fighting for a win in a classic match. Two games will decide the winner, with scores tallied up to reveal the most dominant team. Alongside these two-star teams, the remainder of the lobby will be filled with 72 well-known PUBG MOBILE content creators, meaning all eyes are on this show match.
Other esports professionals will be joining the LOL stars in PUBG Mobile
Doublelift will be joined by PUBG MOBILE’s Xifan, a Canadian pro for Nova Esports NA who achieved 3rd place at the recent PMPL: NA Season 2 Finals and Rolex, a former US pro player who’s achieved multiple 1st places finishes in top tier tournaments Joining them will be League of Legends content creator Tyler 1. Sneaky’s support will be Jacob Gaming, a skilled PUBG MOBILE player and popular content creator, and Karnage, a pro-US player, with streamer Yassuo rounding out the squad with his expert knowledge in League of Legends.

PUBG MOBILE’s new Version 1.7 update has brought the world of Legends of Runterrra (LOR) to Erangel, with characters and locations of the hit series Arcane in Netflix as a playable in-game. Now, two well-known League of Legends former pros, former Cloud9 player Zachary ‘Sneaky’ Scuder and LCS legend Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, will be leading teams of PUBG Mobile content creators in an epic battle in Mirror World, the game’s newest and most ambitious game mode yet.
The match will go live this December
The Mirror World Showmatch will premiere on December 17th, 2021, beginning at 5:00 p.m. PT (8:00 p.m. ET, 1:00 a.m. UTC +0 on December 18th) on the official PUBG MOBILE YouTube and Facebook social channels.
