There is always more fun involved while playing with friends. The option to add friends has become a close-to mandatory feature in every game so that the players can enjoy themselves together. As expected, this option is also available in Ubisoft‘s Rainbow Six Mobile, meaning it will most likely be seen during the Global Launch as well. How to add in-game friends in Rainbow Six Mobile
In Rainbow Six Mobile, players can add or remove friends from their list. However, unlike most games, players cannot add others by entering their In-Game-Name (IGN), instead, they require the Player ID to add a friend. To add a friend in-game, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Step 1: Open Rainbow Six Mobile on the device.
- Step 2: Once the game is open, the player will be directed to the main screen. Click on the Friends section present beside the Platinum on the top right-hand side.
- Step 3: Now, players would be able to see their Player ID. Copy the Player ID by clicking the document-like icon just beside the Player ID.
- Step 4: Once the Player ID has been copied, share it with the friend. He now has to enter the Player ID by heading over to the same section – Friends.
- Step 5: Click on Add Friend highlighted in green to the right, and paste the ID. Click on the same icon again and a friend request will be sent to the respective player.
The above image also shows a list of recent players who played in or against one’s team. Click on the desired player’s profile picture and select Add Friend to send a friend request.
How to add Leaderboard players to your Friends List in Rainbow Six Mobile
Leaderboard players in Rainbow Six Mobile are those whose stats are at the highest in terms of Match Wins, Kills, or Lifetime Score. The Leaderboards display the Top 200 players who have the highest stats in each of the above-mentioned factors. To add a Leaderboard player as a friend, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Step 1: Open Rainbow Six Mobile on the device.
- Step 2: Upon reaching the main screen, head over to the Leaderboards section that is visible at the bottom of the screen.
- Step 3: Click on the profile picture of the desired player that needs to be added.
- Step 4: Post-clicking the profile picture, a smaller screen will pop up from the right side, displaying three options – Add Friend, View Profile, and Report. Click on the first option highlighted in green and a friend request will be sent to the desired player.
Do note that there might be players who might have their friend lists filled up. To avoid this, simply remove a player from the friend’s list by following the method mentioned below:
- ‘Friends’ section -> click on the profile picture of the player to be removed -> click the ‘Remove Friend’ option highlighted in red.
