How Team Role works in Silver and Blood

Before forming a team, understanding how each Vassal and class works during combat in Silver and Blood is very crucial. Each character has unique abilities and belongs to one of the six classes. It’s important to assess whether your focus should be on offense, defense, or burst-heavy teams.
Understanding Vassal Classes
Warriors
In this title, warriors are fighter-like Vassals that mainly use melee and ranged weapons, such as swords. They have strong survivability and DPS, and really perform well in a variety of scenarios. It includes very powerful SSR Vassals like Transcendent Hati, Joan, Ressa, and more.
Assassins
Next are Assassin class Vassals, who are adept at breaking through or avoiding the front line. They tend to directly strike the weaker middle and backline enemies during the match. It includes powerful SSR Vassals like Hati, Gilrain, and Nicole, among others.
Defenders
Defenders here are tank-like Vassals that have reliable survivability and a variety of protection skills. They’ve better survivability than the Warrior class. It includes durable SSR Vassals like Transcendent Ami, Yggdrasil, and Friedrich, to name a few.
Marksmen
Marksmen here, like any other titles, deal consistent, strong DMG, and are a great choice to clear the stages more easily. They either deal damage to a single target or targets in a small area. It includes ranged SSR Vassals like Transcendent Noah, Van Helsing, Selena, and more.
Sorcerers
Sorcerers are like mages, and they feature a versatile attack style. These Vassals can easily destroy many enemies using a variety of methods or skills. It includes high AoE DMG SSR Vassals like Limine, Incendiary Agares, Cecia, and more.
Enchanters
Last in the list is Enchanters, who are very strong Vassals, each possessing distinctive abilities. Best of all, these abilities offer a variety of benefits to your team. It includes a variety of buff-providing SSR Vassals like Seth, Acappella, and Starry-Eyed Aiona.
Examples of Team Composition in Silver and Blood
1. Balanced Team (Transcendent Hati + Transcendent Ami + Seth)
You should aim to have a balanced team that is well-rounded for almost all situations. This setup should include a Warrior for frontline strength, a Defender for tanking enemy attacks, and an Enchanter for support. Both Transcendent Hati and Ami have very high Blood Power and perform well.

Moreover, you can add a Marksman and a Sorcerer to round out the team, as both of them will provide consistent burst-like damage, which is needed for most Chapters in Thread of Fate and Lost Courtyard modes.
2. Burst or AoE-heavy Team (Hati + Transcendent Noah + Incendiary Agares)
Now, if you prefer a more fast-paced, offensive-like playstyle, you should go for a DPS-heavy team. This team will mainly rely on Assassins and Marksmen for their quick takedown potential, backed by a solid Sorcerer for mid-range AoE DMG. Incendiary Agares is a great pick for Single-target and AoE DMG.

You can even throw an Enchanter into the mix for extra boosts. That said, even some Marksmen like Transcendent Noah and Assassins like Mass can deal AoE DMG. So, you can also choose them if you want to focus more on AoE-focused Damage.
3. Sustain and Control Team (Joan + Theophane + Pavana)
For more challenging battles, you should focus on a sustain-focused team. This setup will likely combine Defenders and Warriors with a solid Enchanter for healing and other useful buffs. Moreover, you can add a Sorcerer for extra AoE damage. Joan, Thephane, and Pavana have great control abilities.

Certain Sorcerers, like Lamia and Cecia, can deal Bounce DMG, which is very effective. Plus, Lamia can also offer Healing, while Thibault excels at providing enemy debuffs. To avoid confusion and pick the best Vassals, you should check out our Vassal Tier List to build your formidable team.
