Everything you need to know about Frigg to bring her to the max potential!

Frigg is the first Sub-DPS type limited character to appear in Tower of Fantasy and she has a very powerful skill, the Ice Resonance, that can buff Frost ATK and Resistance by a great margin, which makes her great support for upcoming and current Ice element characters. Frigg’s strongest point is her ability to infinitely dodge without consuming stamina in her Frost Domain. She also has an attack combo to complement that, which is not only very fast but packs quite a punch and deals a lot of damage. This unique skill can provide an entirely new approach when dealing with certain bosses and enemies. Learning about her abilities at the earliest may provide players with an edge since the game has rankings associated with rewards in nearly all content.

Best Matrices Build for Frigg in Tower of Fantasy

Support / SUB DPS Build

Frigg is a powerful Hybrid-DPS character that can either be played as a Full DPS or a Sub-DPS character. She is best paired with another Ice element character to activate the Ice Resonance, which will provide an extra Frost Attack buff for both of them. She can also provide a decent Shatter even when she is a DPS-type character, this shatter damage is not comparable to pure Tanks but is better than most of the DPS characters.

Frigg Battle Tips

  • Frigg has high AOE potential on all her abilities, and her Frost Domain covers a huge area which makes her a powerful ranged DPS, and with her, it is easier to control the flow of the battlefield.
  • Frigg’s Infinite Dodge not only makes evading enemy strikes easy but also removes the requirement for running a healer in the team, as they can simply go for a full damage team, without worrying about dodges whatsoever. Even Phantasia is much easier to trigger in her form.
  • Frigg is immune to nearly all types of Crowd Control in the game and also has an I-Frame in her Skill and Discharge, which you can use to evade powerful enemy strikes efficiently.

For the 4pc effect, the Frigg x 4 and Samir 4x are probably the best matrix players can equip as of now, but it is recommended to use a 2pc combination for greater utility.

Frigg Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece Set: The skill increases frost ATK by 8%/10%/12%/15% for 10 seconds, when switching between frost weapons. This effect works in the background, and if multiple sets are used, the highest star set will take effect.
  • 4-piece Set: When unleashing a frost domain with the weapon “Balmung”, enemies within the frost domain receive frost damage equal to 55%/65%/75%/85% of frost ATK every second.

Huma Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece Set: Hitting targets with dodge skills inflicts bleed, dealing damage equal to 15%/19%/22.5%/26% of ATK every second for 5 seconds.
  • 4-piece Set: The skill reduces the ATK of all targets within 8 meters that are taking damage over time by 10%/12%/13%/15%. Only the highest level’s effect is applied when obtained repeatedly.

Samir Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece Set: It increases damage progressively by 1% upon hitting a target. The skill stacks up to 10/13/16/20 times. It lasts 1.5 seconds.
  • 4-piece Set: The skill increases Dual EM Stars’ electrical explosion damage by 16%/22%/30%/40% of ATK.

Crow Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece Set: Increase crit damage to targets with less than 60% HP by 24%/30%/36%/42%.
  • 4-piece Set: Crits deal additional damage over time equal to 18%/22%/26%/30% of ATK every second for 5 seconds. It does not stack.

Hybrid Matrices sets

Aside from the 4pc Marix sets, players can also try for Hybrid sets of 2pc, since SSR matrices are not that easy to obtain currently. Most players would not have specific ones. Players can pair a number of matrices together to form double 2pc effects, like 2pc Huma + 2pc Frigg for buffing attacks, and the bleeding debuff at the same time. The 2pc Samir / Crow + 2pc Frigg to deal more damage on the field.

Tower of Fantasy Frigg Guide: Best team compositions

Hyper Ice Teams

In the current pool of characters, Meryl and Tsubasa are the only Ice characters in the SSR rarity, and since Frigg has the Ice resonance, which requires another Ice character for activation, one of them or both need to pair with Frigg.

DPS Ice Team

  • Meryl + Frigg + Tsubasa

This is a full offensive team geared for more damage in less time, where Tsubasa can provide a team-wide buff and Meryl can act as the Shieldbreaker and also deal damage in other characters’ downtime. Frigg can fill the role of the Sub-DPS, providing a valuable buff from Ice Resonance and the infinite Dodge ability to avoid damage. This is somewhat of a risky team since the hardest content in the game has prolonged battles and one mistake can ruin that very easily, so it is recommended to use such teams in Bygone Phantasm and in Solo content.

Hybrid Ice Team

  • Meryl + Frigg + Coco

It is a much safer team as compared with the full offensive team since Coco can heal the team whenever required. This team should be your go-to -team for various co-op content, since having both a shield-breaker and healer will make it easier for your co-op teams, dedicated healer, and tank to work in the battle.

  • Tsubasa + Frigg + Coco

Another alternative team with Frigg being the main DPS buffed by Tsubasa.
