TRIBE NINE Tier List: Best Characters Ranked

I’ve categorized the Hunters into three tiers: Strong (S), Good (A), and Average (B). This system makes it easier to understand each character’s abilities and roles, giving you a clear starting point.

Based on my gameplay experience, I’ve created this tier list to rank characters by their effectiveness in different roles. Designed for newcomers, it helps you choose the best Hunters that match your playstyle and maximize your performance.

Best Meta Characters in TRIBE NINE

As shown in the table above, this tier list highlights the best characters in each class. With a diverse roster, you have plenty of options to explore. Each character has unique traits, giving you a variety of choices to suit your playstyle.

The game supports various playstyles, making this tier list subjective. A character’s effectiveness depends on individual strategy, so what one player finds valuable may not be a priority for another.

Best Support Character – Tsuruko Semba

When I played with Tsuruko Semba, I immediately noticed how much of a game-changer she is in the support role. She wields a mysterious ancient book that allows her to summon powerful ranged attacks. What makes her stand out is how she seamlessly blends offense with utility as she can deal respectable damage while also setting up her teammates for success.

One of her strongest abilities lets her boost allies’ attack power while also slowing down enemies, making her invaluable in team fights. I also noticed that her skills had a lot of range, meaning she could support from a safe distance without getting caught in the crossfire. However, she does require good positioning, because if enemies close in on her, she doesn’t have much in terms of escape options.

Best Attacker Character – Miu Jujo

The moment I got my hands on Miu Jujo, I knew she was something special. She’s one of the most aggressive attackers in the game, and her ability to manipulate light rays makes her incredibly unique. Unlike some attackers who just spam basic combos, Miu can deploy energy crystals that act like turrets, constantly dealing damage over time.

If you time it right, you can even detonate them for extra burst damage. During my matches, I saw just how devastating she can be in the right hands. She shreds through enemies, and if positioned well, her abilities allow her to control entire sections of the battlefield. However, she’s not an easy character to master as her turrets require proper placement, and her abilities demand good timing.

Best Healer Character – Minami Oi

When I first played with Minami Oi, I didn’t expect her to be as versatile as she is. Most healers in games are purely defensive, but Minami brings a mix of healing and offense that makes her stand out. She can restore her teammate’s health efficiently, but what surprised me was how she could also chain together attacks right after healing. This allowed her to contribute damage while keeping the team alive.

One thing I noticed, though, is that you have to manage her abilities wisely. If you overuse her healing skills, she can quickly run out of energy, leaving you vulnerable in critical moments. There were times when I panicked and used up all her healing power early in a fight, only to struggle later when my team needed support the most.

Best Tank Character – Roku Saigo

When I saw Roku Saigo in action, I knew he was the definition of a wall. He’s built like a fortress and takes hits that would destroy other characters. As a tank, his role is clear, which is to absorb damage and protect the team. And from my experience, he does this better than anyone else.

His defensive abilities allow him to mitigate tons of incoming attacks, and he even has a taunt skill that forces enemies to focus on him. This makes him an essential frontline character, giving attackers like Miu Jujo the space they need to deal damage safely. I tested him in a few matches, and it was satisfying to see enemies waste their big attacks on him while my team freely attacked from behind.

Final Thoughts

Each of these characters excels in their respective roles, but their effectiveness also depends on how you use them. From my own experience, playing around with their strengths and understanding their mechanics is key to getting the most out of them. Whether you prefer dealing high damage, supporting allies, keeping the team alive, or soaking up damage, there’s a character here that will fit your playstyle perfectly.
