The 4th matchday of this season’s UEFA Champions League is about to kick off within a few days. All teams would be facing a familiar opposition, having played them only a couple of weeks back. Now with the 4th matchday approaching, some teams might want to make their group position strong, so as to guarantee their qualification sooner. For the fantasy managers, however, it would be a time to boost up their ranks now as usual. To add an extra edge to the points tally, managers should look into some differential options, owned by very few other managers. In this edition of the UCL fantasy 2021/22 matchday 4 differentials guide, we would be discussing 5 differential options, managers may choose to boost up their ranks ahead of others.
UCL Fantasy 2021/22 Matchday 4 Differentials
Here is an exclusive list from GamingonPhone of 5 UCL Fantasy Differentials, who may help managers to boost up their rank for Matchday 4. These players are selected keeping eye on every aspect of the tournament.
1. Kai Havertz (Midfielder) – 9.0 million
With Chelsea’s main forwards Lukaku and Werner out injured, Havertz as a false 9 has become an interesting option for Tuchel. The German teenager, with a meager 2% ownership, faced the same opposition a few weeks back and accumulated 8 points after scoring 1 goal and obtaining the clean sheet.

With a poor Malmo defense to attack, Havertz who has scored in his game against Southampton in EFL Cup may be a good option to consider. Also, the €9m asset has 2.32 shots per game across all competitions, which may turn out to be vital for goals against Malmo.
2. Hans Vanaken (Midfielder) – 7.3 million
Hans Vanaken of Club Brugge has had returned points in each of the three previous gameweeks. He scored in all the 3 group stage matches so far, taking his goal tally to 3. He also had an assist in matchday 2. The €7.3m Belgian Midfielder, plays just behind the striker.

Owned by only 1% of fantasy managers, the Brugge captain visits Etihad this week to play against a Manchester City who hasn’t kept a clean sheet yet in the group stage. He also has 4 goals and an assist so far in the Belgian league and can be a serious consideration as a differential asset. Notably, Vanaken has the highest points till now as a differential midfielder.
3. Arnaut Danjuma (Midfielder) – 6.2 million
Villarreal play Young Boys again this week, and it turns out that Young Boys are the team who conceded most goals in the group. Incidentally, Villarreal are the team who scored the most. Also, Danjuma is the Villareal player with most points accumulated till now, with 19. The 6.2m Dutch midfielder, with 2% ownership, has had 2 assists and a goal to his name besides a Man if the Match award so far.

A player having 3.2 shots per game which gave him 5 goals in the La Liga this season. Fantasy managers can go for him for that differential perspective and also because they would play Young Boys at home, having already beat them 4-1 in the away leg.
4. Paulinho (Forward) – 6.2 million
The Portuguese forward already has accumulated 18 points from 3 games. For the low price (€6.2m) he maybe bought into the team, those 18 points look quite tempting.

The 2% fantasy managers who own him, might expect him to score against Besiktas again, which he already did in the past game week. He scored and assisted 1 goal against Besiktas, and would want to do so again this week.
5. Antony (Forward) – 7.4 million
In case managers want to keep an in-form Ajax asset, but don’t wanna go for a popular choice like Sebastian Haller, they can surely opt for his Brazilian teammate Antony. The €7.4m forward already has 22 points for his 2 assists, 1 goal, and 12 ball recoveries.

The freely scoring Ajax side has 11 goals in 3 UCL games already. Antony has 2.6 shots on goal in Eredivisie with 1.1 on target this season. With only around 4% ownership and a Dortmund side without the likes of Erling Haaland to play against, Antony might be an option to consider.
