Pokémon Unite is a 5 vs 5 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. MOBA is already a popular genre of the game around the world and so is Pokémon. This game allows players to pick one Pokémon per battle and use it to defeat enemies while going through its evolution chain in the match. This article will discuss which Pokémon is a fan-favourite for the community and what the community wants to play in Pokémon Unite.
This article will involve their type, evolution line, which generation they are from, and the Pokémon region they have first been seen in. This list will include every Starter, Pseudo-Legendary, and Legendary that fans are eager to see.
Pokémon Unite: Listing the top 7 fan-favourite Pokémon
1. Typhlosion
Let’s start with Starter Pokémons, as every Pokémon journey does. First on this list is Typhlosion (2nd Generation Fire-Type Starter). I have been a fan of it, ever since it came into existence. It was first introduced in Gen-II games, Pokémon Gold, Pokémon Silver, and Pokémon Crystal. These games were based on the Johto Region.
It has a 3 stage Evolution Line. Its first stage is Cyndaquil, later it evolves into Quilava and then Typhlosion. Even in anime, Cyndaquil was one of Ash’s prominent Pokémon in Pokémon: The Johto Journeys, Pokémon: Johto League Champions, and Pokémon: Master Quest. So fans want Typhlosion in the game in the Attacker Role.
2. Swampert
Now we have a starter from Hoenn Region and Gen-III, Swampert (Water and Ground Type). One of the most Bulked Starters out there, In Gen-III games, Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Blaziken and Swampert were fan favourites. It also has a 3-stage Evolution Line like every other Starter Pokémon, the first stage is Mudkip, the second stage is Marshtomp, and then the third and last stage is Swampert. Overall it will be a great addition to the game. As it can serve the role of All-rounder or Defender.
3. Infernape
Just like Typhlosion, there is room for another blazing starter. This time from Gen-IV, we have Infernape (Fire and Fighting Type). People might call it a knock-off of Blaziken, but It is much more than just that, anime watchers know. This Pokémon is from Gen-IV games, Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. It has a 3-stage evolution Line, the first stage is Chimchar, the second stage is Monferno, and the last stage is Infernape. It should be added to the game in the Attacker Role.
4. Salamence
With that, now it comes to Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon. The game already added a lot of Pseudo-Legendary. But still, Gen-III fans have been waiting for one of the best and classic Pseudo-Legendary out there, Salamence (Dragon and Flying Type). This Pokémon is a Powerhouse, introduced in Hoenn Region. This one also has a 3 stage Evolution Line. The first stage is Bagon, the second stage is Shelgon, and the last stage is Salamence. This Pokémon can fill the Attacker role well because its Attack stats overshadow every other stat there is.
5. Crobat
We will now talk about a Pokémon whose early stages are sure hated by fans who played any early-gen Pokémon game, but also they know how annoying they can be. Here, we are talking about their beloved last stage, Crobat (Poison and Flying Type), a Pokémon that needs friendship to evolve. Introduced in Gen-I and from then on it’s been in every Gen of Pokémon game. Again a 3-stage Evolution Line, first stage Zubat, second stage Golbat, and third stage Crobat. This Pokémon will be a great addition to the game as a Speedster.
6. Ditto
Another interesting addition that fans want to see is Ditto(Normal Type). It has the fan base curious. That is how Pokémon UNITE will add a Pokémon to the game who only knows one move and that is “Transform” and how Ditto will be able to shapeshift into Pokémon from the enemy team and use their powers. Ditto has no Evolution Line. Introduced in Gen-I. It can be a true All-Rounder, As it can transform into any Pokémon there is on the battlefield.
7. Deoxys
After Mewtwo was introduced in the game, fans have been asking for another Pokémon, Deoxys (Psychic), a Pokémon that came from space. Also a Legendary, it was introduced in Gen-III games, Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. When it crashed into Earth, it crashed into the Hoenn Region. It has no Evolution Line. But, it has 3 different forms the Normal Form, Attack Form, Defense Form, and Speed Form. It will be a great All-Rounder addition to the game.

These are the Pokémon that fans have been most excited about, Though there are a total of 1,025 Pokémon in the current Pokémon Universe. We can say certainly every Pokémon has its fanbase and they sure want their favorite Pokémon in the game.
