Valorware has announced the remake of their dungeon-crawling adventure RPG, 9th Dawn Remake, set to launch on Android and iOS on May 1, 2025. The game previously launched on PC in September 2024, and will also launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on April 24, 2025.

9th Dawn Remake is a massive open-world RPG that reinvents the original with revamped combat and refined quests. Set in the continent of Montelorne, you are tasked with finding out an evil power stirring troubles, crafting gear, and raising a powerful team of creatures to save Montelorne.
I am also eager to try the comedic minigame, Fishing Survivors, where you control worm-warriors and face deadly waves of enemy fish. With various exploration-based missions and new worms to unlock, it sounds fun to me.
There’s also Deck Rock, a deck-building card minigame inspired by Slay the Spire and Roguebook. Here, you control medieval paper champions and beat dungeons using the map found in the campaign, unlock all cards, level up paper champions, complete dungeons, and enjoy the turn-based strategy battles.

I am excited to dive into this reimagined version and explore over 45 fresh, hand-crafted dungeons full of deadly creatures and loot. You can also unlock various spells, abilities, assign attribute points, upgrade your gear, and hatch friendly creatures from eggs and raise them to clear the dungeons easily.
This remake looks very promising with its single-player, online, and local co-op modes, various side quests, loot, prizes, minigames, revamped story, new expanded dungeons, and more content. You should definitely look forward to this one, in my opinion.
9th Dawn Remake is set to launch on both Android and iOS on May 1, 2025, and on consoles on April 24, 2025. If you can’t wait, you can try it on Steam now.
