It is now official that Albion Online, a cross-platform Fantasy Sandbox MMORPG is now officially launching this summer for mobile devices on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and is now available for pre-registration. This was revealed in an official tweet and an announcement on their official website. The game has already been launched in Germany for Android and iOS although that version is still going to get optimized and improved before the global release. The core experience is expected to be similar across both Mobile and PC with UI differences.

It has also been mentioned on their official site that they’ve spent the past year making sure that the mobile version of the game is optimised and works perfectly for iOS and Android.
Some of the additions to make the experience better includes:
- Introduction of fully customizable mobile-specific controls and HUD
- Two unique control schemes for mobile users
- Optimized UI for mobile with customizable settings
Rewards for cross-platform play
The game does feature Cross-Play and one of the other announcements on their website is about the Chimera skin which can transform any tier of Riding Horse base mount into a fierce mythological beast. To get it, players will have to log into the game from both desktop and mobile
Albion Online mobile release date
Developers have revealed the release date of Albion Online to be June 9, 2021, on mobile. Interested gamers can pre-register here to get some exclusive goodies upon the game’s release. It is going to be free to play with In-App Purchases.
