Here’s a fun experience I’ve come across in Alien Morgue, which takes on the sci-fi genre, now launched on Android and iOS. Developed by indie developer BurGum Games (Artem Gumennikov), the title was previously available on PC via Steam and is now making its way to a mobile audience.
Alien Morgue is set in a dystopian world centered around corporate-controlled immortality
The game puts you in the role of an alien pathologist, where your job revolves around examining bodies, identifying alien species, and determining causes of death. Using an in-game database, you’ll study different alien physiologies, dissect corpses, and match identities based on features, occupation, and race.

Set in a dystopian alien world, Alien Morgue explores a society obsessed with achieving immortality through cryocapsules controlled by a powerful corporation. As you progress, what starts as a routine job slowly turns into something much deeper, uncovering a conspiracy tied to the very system you’re working for.
The narrative is driven by personal stakes as well. After losing your spouse, you take up this job to earn credits and secure a chance at reuniting with them. Along the way, you’re forced to make difficult moral choices that shape both the story and its multiple endings.
The game is set to be inspired by Papers, Please and Strange Horticulture, the two indie hits, both following the “identify” genre experience, with people and plants, respectively. Throw in a dash of Rick and Morty, and X-Files, there too.
Alien Morgue arrives on Android and iOS as a try before you buy approach, so you can experience the first 7 in-game days for free, while a one-time purchase unlocks the full game, which includes 25 days of gameplay and 9 different endings, all without ads.
