New Tales to provide its expertise in game operations to help Ankama bring global players to WAVEN
To support Ankama in bringing WAVEN to as many players as feasible worldwide, New Tales will contribute its cutting-edge expertise as a game operator serving international communities. WAVEN, the Ankama studio’s most ambitious project, is based in the Krosmoz universe. The game is expected to release before the end of 2023. DOFUS launched the Krosmoz saga 20 years ago.

Six months ago, New Tales and Ankama agreed to their first strategic collaboration as they got ready to release WAVEN. This beneficial partnership has now developed into a worldwide co-publishing arrangement. This is to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the game .

WAVEN is a turn-based tactical role-playing game. It is the third significant chapter in the story that Ankama has been telling for more than 15 years. In it, players find the World of Twelve after a strange catastrophe has nearly completely engulfed it. The survivors sail the high seas in their ships in quest of the resources they need to live and flourish, with only the roofs of the tallest buildings and highest mountain tops accessible.
Ankama invites players on a great adventure full of exploration, tactical combat against recognizable monsters from the Krosmoz universe, and encounters between players either live or in asynchronous arenas. This is all set against the backdrop of amusing and endearing stories in Ankama’s colorful and expressive graphic style and beloved, distinctive epic-burlesque style. The cross-platform video game WAVEN will be free to download and play on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.
