In a very exciting announcement, Chad Grenier, the Game Director of Apex Legends Mobile, has revealed that the regional beta for Apex Legends Mobile, the mobile version of the popular PC and Console Battle Royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts (EA) will be having its first regional beta test later this month. This closed beta of Apex Legends Mobile is regional, and will only be available to a few thousand players in India and the Philippines with Android devices.

Grenier also briefly talked about how ambitious this project is and added his thoughts:
Apex Legends Mobile is specially designed for touchscreens, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a phone. It’s a new version of Apex Legends, but it’s true to the original.

These recent developments suggest that we’d hopefully be able to join in on the fun soon. Also, we can see more beta tests will be rolling out across the globe. Post this update, they’ll be steadily increasing the regions covered under the beta tests and also implement iOS support. Once all that works out, we’d finally be able to pre-register for the game.
When will Apex Legends Mobile release
It is also worth mentioning that the game will be free to play with In-App Purchases; as cosmetics, battle passes, and other and other unlockables. Additionally, EA also announced that the game won’t feature cross-play with the console or PC versions of Apex Legends.
If you are an Android user and a resident of either India or the Philippines you can go ahead and pre-register on the Google Play Store. While we don’t have an exact release date yet, there was confirmed earlier that the game would be released by September 2022. In the meantime, you can check out the minimum requirements for the game to make sure that you’re ready to enjoy the game once it comes out.
