Arknights: Endfield community raises alarm over pull tracker tools after reports of hacked computers

Troubles!

Story Highlights
  • Arknights: Endfield players warn about security risks tied to pull tracker websites.
  • Game logs shared with trackers may contain sensitive session tokens.

A serious security concern is currently making rounds in the Arknights: Endfield community, with players warning others to avoid using certain third-party gacha pull tracker websites after reports of compromised systems and stolen information.

According to discussions circulating in the community, an Endfield pull tracker tool, EndfieldRecords, requires players to upload their game logs to analyze gacha history. The problem is that these logs can contain session tokens that may grant access to account data if someone else obtains them.

Reports claim some Arknights: Endfield players experienced system compromises and stolen data

Posts shared across the community suggest that these tokens might be used to retrieve pull information or interact with an active account session. Because of this, players are now advising others not to upload their logs to any external websites or share them publicly when asking for technical help.

One example involves popular streamer Fobm4ster, who reported that his system was severely compromised because of the same. He later shared an image of himself reinstalling Windows 11 after the incident and warned others about the risks.

There are also images circulating where players cannot access the game. With the situation still troubling many, it is recommended that those who already shared their logs change their account passwords, which should invalidate older tokens and refresh login credentials.

Pull trackers are quite common in gacha communities, since many players enjoy reviewing their summoning history and calculating probabilities. However, these tools often rely on extracting game logs or accessing certain APIs, which can create security risks if the process is not handled properly.

At this stage, it remains unclear whether the incidents are directly tied to this specific website or if the malware originated from another source, but the site has been pulled offline, so the former being the case seems to be concrete.

No official confirmation has been issued by Hypergryph, the developer behind Arknights: Endfield. So, until developers provide safer official methods for tracking pull history, it is better to avoid sharing logs, change passwords if you have already done so, and stay cautious with third-party tools.
