Assassin’s Creed Mirage to launch for iPhone 15 and iPad on June 6th, 2024

Finally!

Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Ubisoft’s action adventure title, has finally got a debut date set, with the game set to launch on June 6th, 2024 on select iOS devices. From the official announcement, the game will be made available for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Air, and iPad Pro with M1 chip or later.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage brings cross-play feature for mobile players

First announced during the Apple Event 2023 alongside Resident Evil 4 and Death Stranding Director’s Cut, the developers confirmed that this is the first time that Assassin’s Creed players get to enjoy a console title on mobile. The game places you into the shoes of Basim, a shrewd street thief haunted by horrible visions, compelled by the thirst for knowledge and vengeance.

Following a lethal act of vengeance, Basim slips out of Baghdad and joins an ancient association known as The Hidden Ones. He seeks to perfect his special skills, uncover the truth about his identity, and embrace a new Creed that will forever change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.

Speaking of the gaming experience, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will also come with optimized touch controls and controller support on iOS devices. Another talking point is that we will have cross-save and cross-ownership features after purchase, which would help the players play the game on any of their preferred iPhone and iPad devices easily.

As mentioned earlier, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be a limited iOS launch on April 6, 2024, now open for pre-order on the App Store. The likelihood of the game launching on Android seems to be a distant dream for now, since no development details are known, but we can surely expect it someday.
