BAASH: Mobile eSports tournament platform soft-launches on Android

Mobile eSports tournament platform BAASH recently had its soft launch on Android in the Philippines. BAASH claims to have already carried out over 400 matches while under soft-launch as the world’s first mobile esports platform.

What is BAASH?

Veterans in the gaming industry established CAPSL developers of BAASH aiming to make esports tournaments accessible to every esports fan. They are making competition easy, fun, and scalable, as they want the world to enjoy the delights of competing (BAASHing) people in their favourite mobile games. Irrespective of people having experience or not; no matter if people play for prizes, glory, or levelling up skills, BAASH is a hub for all competitive play!

Mobile eSports is the Future

When you think of mobile gaming you might not immediately think of the potential to play competitively. But mobile esports is a reality. More and more gamers are playing games like PUBG Mobile, Arena of Valor, and Clash of Clans on their smartphones and tablets competitively. Mobile gaming has swelled the ranks of the gaming industry to such a great extent due to its ability to appeal to the mass.

Mobile eSports enjoyed a huge spike in the past year, with emerging markets like Southeast Asia, India, and Brazil at the forefront of this growth. Southeast Asia generated an estimated amount of $3 billion mobile game revenue representing a 17.4 per cent year-on-year growth. Additionally, a sum of $655 million brand sponsorship was spent on pro-tournaments in 2019 (according to Newzoo). As such BAASH looks to help promote pro-tournaments for less cost to organizers.

As mentioned earlier, BAASH had it’s android soft launch in the Philippines only. Anyone interested can pre-register here but you need to use a VPN to access this if you’re not from the Philippines.
