After the release of the much-awaited battle royale mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India or BGMI, many rumors have surfaced about a makeover which the game will be receiving very soon. This makeover is confirmed by KRAFTON as a brand new Royale Pass schedule and cycle in the game.
When will BGMI Season 20 arrive
One of the first changes to take place is the reiteration of the ongoing Season 19 of Battlegrounds Mobile India and the launch of Season 20. As per the existing schedule, the in-game season ends on the 17th of July 2021. However, in the latest announcement, it has been said that the date has been moved earlier to the 14th of July 2021 which will mark the official end of Season 19.
The mentioned time for Season 19 expiration is 5:29:59 AM, whereas the new season will start from 7:30 AM. This in-game date will soon be corrected in the upcoming patch, with the latest date for the launch of Season 20.
What is the new Royale Pass cycle in Battlegrounds Mobile India
Season 20 of Battlegrounds Mobile India will introduce a new Royale Pass cycle consisting of 3 seasons combined in one. This is will make each cycle have 3 Royale Pass, ultimately making one Royal Pass cycle will last for 3 months. Also, the abbreviation Season as in Season 19, Season 20 or S19 and S20 will be known as M19 and M20 which is Month 19 and Month 20. For example, the upcoming season will now not be called S20 instead it’ll be known as M1, and the next season as M2 and so on.
And each month will be preceded by its cycle number. For example, the first Royale Pass cycle will be called C1M1/C1S1 and so on for the rest of the seasons and cycles.
As for the tier reward system, the players will now get rewards for consecutively achieving a specific tier 3 times within one full Royale Pass cycle for a total of 3 months. After the end of each Cycle, all tiers will reset and the ranking system will enter another cycle, which will continue for another 3 months.

For now, KRAFTON has officially announced these features for Battlegrounds Mobile India in their announcement earlier today. The new system is likely to change the dynamics in the game and how players push for their rankings in the tier. It also hints at an easier way to upgrade your Royale Pass each cycle with even more rewards, as it will cover 3 Royale Pass in 1 cycle. As of now, Battlegrounds Mobile India is continuing to get special attention from the developers, and it remains to be seen where it will stand as compared to the regular global version after all patches and changes are implemented.
