Equipped with a talent for digital chaos, the recently enrolled students, Kayoko (New Year) and Haruka (New Year) have made a stylish entrance into the widely adored mobile RPG Blue Archive, joining in for a repeat of the cherished New Year’s Rhapsody No. 68 event.
Kayoko and Haruka join forces in Blue Archive
Dressed in an elegant kimono, Kayoko emerges as a formidable presence on the battlefield. As a Mystic-type Striker hailing from Gehana Academy, she possesses an EX Skill that bestows an amulet upon a single ally, with the exception of herself, for a duration of 40 seconds.
Following the kimono theme, Haruka (New Year) makes for an ideal companion to Kayoko. Originating from the same academy, Haruka serves as an Explosive-type Striker, wielding both a shotgun and an unwavering resolve, despite her struggles with self-esteem. Her EX Skill inflicts substantial damage, proportional to her ATK, upon enemies within a fan-shaped area. The two powerful new students also bring a wealth of new features including:
- New Update Content – With the 22nd chapter comes exciting new missions and six unique T8 gear types that allow for a smoother gameplay experience.
- Quality of Life Improvements – Nexon is implementing several improvements for better user experiences, including a feature that saves inventory space and automatically creates high-quality items for players by combining eligible items together when close to max capacity. Additionally, Bounty and Scrimmage Tickets are now unified into a single Ticket type after originally being separated by stage.
The arrival of Kayoko and Haruka brings exciting events to Blue Archive
In an exciting development, players now have the opportunity to indulge in the “Cherry Blossom Festival Commotion” event without any restrictions on their playtime. At the same time, Nexon has an array of thrilling events and fresh, new content in the works. This includes the eagerly awaited Epilogue of Chapter 4 in the Main Story’s Final Episode, titled “Phrenapates Showdown,” which is set to premiere on Tuesday, October 3.
As the anniversary of Blue Archive approaches, Nexon is gearing up for a special celebration of two years of global service. They will be hosting a unique livestream event with an in-person audience on Saturday, October 28. To make this event even more special, Nexon is reaching out to the community and their official website to collect users’ personal stories, which will take center stage during the live event.
