Blue Archive by Nexon is scheduled to conduct a closed beta test in China, with the publication duties taken care of by Yostar Games. This test will be conducted on Android for approximately two weeks, starting on June 22nd and ending on July 5th. Alongside, there is no limit to the number of participants.
The pre-registration for the game has already reached 2.6 million
Blue Archive is a tactical RPG game where the player will have to take on the role of a teacher in the academy city Kivotos. Initially, the game was planned for release in 2020, Blue Archive was officially released in Japan in February 2021 and subsequently launched in global regions, including Korea and North America, in November of the same year.
Pre-registrations in China began in March this year and now the closed beta test is scheduled. Reportedly, the number of pre-registrations for Blue Archive in China has reached approximately 2.6 million, and the promotional video (PV) released on March 31st has garnered over 4.3 million views.
During this test, participants will have access to various features, including the main story which involves confronting powerful boss monsters. Furthermore, the game offers over 40 different character types for players to enjoy.
Kim Yong-ha, The Executive PD of Nexon Games and who is in charge of the development of Blue Archive, expressed his excitement over the release of the game in China. He said, “I am truly happy to be able to introduce Blue Archive to Chinese players. We will do our best to provide the best possible service.”
