Boom Beach Frontlines is back again with a new update. The July 2022 update follows the big update in June which introduced a new map and change in-game economics. With the July update, Space Ape Games is going to release new troops, cards, and improvements to the alliance system along with new regions for the soft launch. Here is the full breakdown of the Boom Beach Frontlines July 2022 update.

Players who have been at the frontlines for a long time need not worry as they will also get the beach pass by heading to the in-game shop between August 1st and 8th 2022. Players pre-registering and downloading the game on iOS devices will need to claim their free Beach Pass from the in-game Shop.
New cards and levels
- Cryopult: A rare vehicle with the ability to chill and slow down a group of enemies.
- Cryo mines: Cryo mines are a common rarity card that slows down as well as deals damage to the opponents who step on them.
- Ice guard: A high-health epic troop that deals piercing damage while slowing down foes.
With the introduction of three new cards, the maximum player level is also increased from 50 to 53.
New Troop: Laser Ranger
The new epic troop attacks in a straight line hitting all foes who are in the line of sight making her a great option at crowd control for players who can line up enemies. She deals great damage, making her a great addition to the growing list of troops.
Alliances: Card Donations
With the update, players can request cards from fellow alliance members making it easier to level up their troops, vehicles, and other cards. Other changes are also being worked on currently so stay tuned to the official channels on Reddit and Twitter.
Boom Beach Frontlines July 2022 update: Upgradable Buildings and Visual Changes
There are multiple buildings on the island nation that players were introduced to in the previous update. With the July update, players will have the option to upgrade buildings based on their own choice and therefore progress is no longer locked by player levels. Each building offers different perks for example upgrading the armory will increase the maximum level a troop or a building can be upgraded to, similarly leveling up the artifacts building increases the capacity of the number of artifacts that the building can store.
The command building is now unlocked and increasing the level will improve the rewards that players get from the boxes. The artifact required to upgrade buildings is Elderwood which players will be able to obtain by exploring different areas in the archipelago. Current players will get some amount of Elderwood based on their progress in the game.
- Fixed various bugs
