- Brave Frontier Versus is a fast-paced card RPG where you build teams and use Brave Burst attacks in strategic battles.
- You can still play until EOS, use remaining Gems, or request refunds for unused currency starting June 23, 2026.
gumi Inc. has announced to shutdown its beloved digital card RPG, Brave Frontier Versus, on June 22, 2026. As the newest entry to the popular mobile JRPG series, the game opened pre-registration in September 2025 and was officially released in October 2025. So it didn’t even last one full year.
Brave Frontier Versus EOS comes early, though devs didn’t reveal the exact reasons
So, Brave Frontier Versus is a medieval card RPG with fast-paced strategic battles. In this game, you can build your own party and even deploy multiple units right from the very first turn with the new battle system to defeat enemies. You can also draw Manifestation Cards and use iconic Brave Burst attacks.
Unfortunately, the Brave Frontier Versus team announced via X(Twitter) that the game would shut down on June 22, 2026, stating, “We offer our sincere thanks for all the love you have shown our game, and we hope you will continue playing until the very last.“ They didn’t reveal the exact reason behind the EOS.
You can use your remaining Gems or request refunds after EOS
Following the announcement, the game has already disabled the sale of Gems, though you can play and use this in-game currency until EOS. The good news is that you can at least request refunds for your unused Gems from June 23, 2026. But we won’t get any offline version for this one.
Honestly, it’s sad to see a title from such a well-known IP not even survive one full year. At the same time, fans’ reactions have been pretty mixed, with some asking to “give us og back gumi its all we want.” Funny part is most didn’t even know about it, as one said, “first time i’ve heard of it.”
