Fellow Moon to close on July 23, 2026 in Japan, ending its supernatural strategy RPG run without a global release

A promising title gone before its global release!

Story Highlights
  • Fellow Moon is an urban paranormal strategy RPG where you investigate and tackle supernatural threats.
  • Leading up to EOS, you'll get bonuses and access to an exchange shop.
  • Refund processing will run from July 23 to October 30, with final completion by December 31, 2026.

Garena International II has announced to shutdown its turn-based RPGFellow Moon, on July 23, 2026 in Japan, following its earlier China closure. The game had a public beta in China, followed by its final CBT in Korea and Taiwan and later saw a regional release in select countries.

Devs confirms shutdown without revealing the exact reason behind it

So, Fellow Moon is an urban paranormal strategy RPG that take place in the mysterious city of Nanting. As the head of the Super Management of Bureau, you’ve to lead a team of Agents to investigate strange events across the city and face off both supernatural threats and rival factions in team-based battles.

Unfortunately, the Fellow Moon Team announced via X(Twitter) that the game would shut down on uly 23, 2026, stating, “We, the operations team, extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the captains who have supported us until now.” However, they didn’t reveal the exact reason behind the EOS.

You can play until EOS and enjoy all the bonus rewards

After the Dawn’s Return version maintenance, new user registrations and in-app purchases have been disabled. But you can still play the game, collect the rewards and also exchange items in the Special Delivery Area, with bonus cycles running from May 7 to July 8, 2026. There is no offline version though.

Personally, I thought the game had a lot of potential, especially with its stunning art, so it’s disappointing to see it not get a global release. Some fans share the same feeling, while others argue that, “Fellow Moon had nice art, but that’s really all it had,” lacking on gameplay and story and alsothe brutal competition in cn gacha market.
