Supercell’s Clash Mini gives users an early heads-up via the Reddit community regarding the upcoming Update 7 with respect to currencies. The idea behind the simplification of the currencies is to have the players get an experience of simplistic resource management in terms of the number of currencies present in the game.
Shards are now simplified into one single currency in Clash Mini
Clash Mini announced a certain number of conversions from current shards to new, simplified shards in order to streamline the overall user experience with the game. The game currently has three types of hero shards, namely Common, Rare, and Epic Hero Shards along with Skill Shards.
However, with the new simplification system implemented once Update 7 goes live, the previous 3 types of Hero Shards and Skill Shards will be converted into one unified currency called Hero Shards. To arrange the same, a weightage for the previous shards is given for smooth conversion.
From Update 6 to Update 7, below is a breakdown of the currencies in the exchange coming in Clash Mini Update 7.
- 1x Common Hero Shard will be equal to 0.2 Hero Shards.
- 1x Rare Hero Shard will be equal to 1 Hero Shard.
- 1x Epic Hero Shard will be equal to 10 Hero Shards.
- 1x Skill Shard will be equal to 0.8 Hero Shards.
In case of conversion being a decimal, it will be rounded up. For example, if a player has 4.9 Hero Shards as a result of this conversion, he will receive 5 Hero Shards. As usual, Gold and Gems will remain as the major currency and won’t be ongoing any simplification.
Details of update 7 are currently unknown other than the simplification of the currencies. More info might come from the developers’ side as days come closer to the update release. Currently, the game is available in a few select regions.
