Clash of Clans is continuing the Cosmic Curse season this October 2025 with an all-new Cosmic Rock event. This isn’t one of the usual mini medal events but a special long-time running event bringing a new troop, gameplay twist, and a new epic Hero Equipment for the Minion Prince.
Clash of Clans ‘Cosmic Rock’ October 2025 Event: All you need to know
The event begins on October 10, 2025, and will run for the entire month till the season ends, October 31st, for Town Hall 6 and above players. Cosmic Shards will be the main in-game resource for the event.
These shards can be exchanged at the Trader Shop for rewards, including equipment, ores, and decorations. The returning event building will be located in your village, where you can collect a few free shards to get started and view your event progress.
Event Progression
You can earn shards by participating in multiplayer, ranked, and revenge battles. During attacks, a new twist appears: meteors will destroy random defenses before the battle begins. These ruined defenses drop shards when destroyed, but they also explode afterward, damaging nearby troops. Do note that this works only in regular battles.
The event also introduces the brand-new Meteor Golem, which can be unlocked using the first 100 shards you collect. When deployed, it splits into two smaller meteorites that continue fighting, dealing splash damage and jumping over walls.
Alongside it, returning mashup troops like the Barcher, Ice Minion, and Lavaloon make a comeback with slight stat adjustments to keep battles balanced.
Event Rewards
The Cosmic Rock event offers amazing rewards for both free and paid players. On the free track, you can earn 3,100 Rock Medals, 5,000 Shiny Ore, 400 Glowy Ore, four Mighty Morsel Magic Snacks, and three Clan Castle Cakes.
You need 16,000 Cosmic Shards to complete the main reward track, while the bonus track requires an additional 8,000 shards for extra medals and loot. With the event pass, you’ll gain an additional 1,000 starting shards, 5,500 Rock Medals, 600 Glowy Ore, and 80 Starry Ore, along with boosted loot and resources.
Exclusive decorations are also part of this event. The Cursed Tomb is the featured premium decoration, while the Cosmic Lantern is available on the free side of the track. You can earn up to 3,750 total medals for free or increase that to 9,250 medals with the event pass.
New Passive Hero Equipment: Meteor Staff
The highlight equipment of this event is the Meteor Staff, an Epic Passive Equipment for the Minion Prince. This item passively calls down meteors during attacks, striking nearby defenses every few seconds. At max level, it can deal up to 850 damage per meteor.
You can purchase the Meteor Staff and other returning equipment, such as the Fireball, Frozen Arrow, Electro Boots, and Giant Gauntlet, from the Trader Shop using Rock Medals earned during the event.
