Clash of Clans is kicking off a fresh type of clan event called Gold Rush, and it’s set to run from April 14, 2025, for one week. This is the Mysterious Clan event that was teased in the monthly events calendar. So, I’m jumping right in to give you the specifics of this new event.
Clash of Clans Gold Rush April 2025 Event details
Overview and Event Progression
Once the event begins, you’ll notice a special building next to the Friend or Foe event area. Tapping on the WWE belt icon takes you into the Gold Rush interface. Here, you’ll see your clan’s progress, a leaderboard, and the rewards list.
In this event, we must collect the Golden Nuggets currency for the event progression. Golden Nuggets come from three sources: collecting gold from your gold mines, looting from the loot cart, and multiplayer attacks.
However, there’s a catch. If your storage is full, only gold earned from multiplayer attacks, including league bonuses, will still turn into Golden Nuggets. Just note that Clan Wars, Goblin maps, Builder Base, and Clan Capital gold don’t count.
Contributing to Clans
These nuggets are then contributed to your clan to help unlock milestone rewards, which has a final cosmetic item in the WWE Championship Belt.
Up to 100 players can contribute to a single clan, even though the actual clan limit is 50. You can only claim each reward tier once, but you’re free to help others hit their milestones, too.
The good part is that even if you only contribute a single Golden Nugget, you’ll still qualify for the rewards as long as the milestone is reached while you’re in the clan.
Rewards
Claiming rewards works differently in Gold Rush compared to Clan Games. You don’t need to wait until the end to claim it. However, you must stay in the clan to claim the rewards. If you leave or get kicked before claiming them, you don’t get any of it.
The rewards, alongside the WWE Championship Belt cosmetic, include 20 chests and 750 Champion Medals.
