Clash Royale’s CHAOS Mode has quickly become one of the most entertaining limited-time modes in the game. Along with the unpredictable gameplay and crazy modifiers, the mode also introduces three secret Legendary badges that you can unlock by completing special challenges.
These badges are not part of the usual progression, which is why many players are trying to figure out how to get them. If you’re looking to complete them all before the mode disappears, here’s a simple guide explaining how each CHAOS Mode badge works and the best way to unlock them.
The three CHAOS Mode badges in Clash Royale
Currently, there are three confirmed badges available.
| Title | Tier | Description | Unlock Condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Secret C.H.A.O.S Badge | Legendary | Don’t lose… | Win three battles in a row |
| Secret C.H.A.O.S Badge | Legendary | Go for the King… | Win a battle without damaging the Princess Towers |
| Secret C.H.A.O.S Badge | Legendary | What can I say… | Get four specific modifiers in the same match |
How to unlock all three Legendary CHAOS Mode badges in Clash Royale
1. Steps to unlock “Don’t lose” CHAOS Badge
This is the simplest badge to unlock in CHAOS Mode. To get it, you only need to win three matches in a row. Since Chaos Mode matches can become unpredictable with modifiers, it’s best to use consistent decks with strong defensive options.

Cards like Electro Wizard, Goblin Demolisher, Dart Goblin, and Vines can become extremely strong with the right modifiers chosen. To help you with it, I have already listed the best decks currently available for CHAOS mode, so give them a try.
2. Steps to unlock “Go for the King” CHAOS Badge
So now, here’s another interesting badge to get, and this is also simple, but it might definitely take some extra matches. To unlock it, you need to win a match by destroying only the King Tower without damaging either Princess Tower.

Even a single point of damage to a Princess Tower will ruin the attempt, so you have to be extremely careful with your attacks. The easiest way to do this is by backdooring the King Tower, meaning you go straight for the center. Well, that’s the only way as well.
Now, what cards to use? Cards like Goblin Barrel, Goblin Drill, and Graveyard, with Rage, Vine, Fireball, and Poison spells are the way to go. Just make sure you avoid using spells or modifiers that might accidentally splash onto the Princess Towers.
3. Steps to unlock “What can I say” CHAOS Badge
Alright, this is the toughest badge to get. This is by far the hardest Chaos Mode badge to unlock because it depends heavily on luck. To get it, you need to obtain four specific modifiers in the same match: the Barbarian Launcher Mortar, Goblin Party Rocket, Goblin Party Hut, and the Wizard Trio modifier.
I’m not sure why this particular order has been set to unlock, but this is what makes a badge legendary. You don’t need to play the cards for the badge to count. As long as you obtain these four modifiers during the same match, the badge will unlock, regardless of whether you win or lose.
So, yes, there’s a lot of grinding to be done here. But you can follow a few steps. Restart early if the modifiers don’t appear. You can only get five modifiers per match. Since you need four specific ones, if the first few upgrades don’t match the required cards, it’s usually faster to restart and try again.
Next up is to avoid picking modifiers for the required cards early. If you pick a common modifier for Wizard or Rocket, you won’t be able to get the required rare or epic modifier later. Also, remember that the last modifier usually appears in overtime, so try to defend and stall the match instead of pushing aggressively.
