If you’re a Town Hall 17 player, you probably felt that little sting when you learned the Eagle Artillery disappears once you merge it with Town Hall 16 to create the Inferno Artillery in Clash of Clans. Over a year since that update arrived, we might have something to make us happy, not exactly the return, but instead a decoration.
Folks at TH16 and below won’t be getting the Eagle Monument deco, as it should be
Yes, we have an Eagle Artillery decoration available now, for all Town Hall 17 players and above, since you can’t have it at Town Hall 18 either. You’ll find it sitting in the Decorations tab, just waiting to be claimed. And honestly? It’s a pretty sweet little tribute.
The Eagle Monument design isn’t exactly a replica of the Eagle Artillery, but it is nostalgic. It doesn’t blast anything anymore in your Town Hall 17s, but still, I can’t lie, it does stand out, not just by the design but also thinking about how it shaped our defense until Town Hall 16.
Still, many believe the change in TH17 was needed because the Eagle Artillery had started to fall off in the higher Town Hall levels, especially after TH13 and TH14. Personally, I think the switch to the Inferno Artillery was the right call. It feels like a much more solid and reliable defense compared to what the Eagle Artillery would have offered at TH17.
Now, I did see a lot of players wondering why it’s only for TH17+. The answer makes sense once you think about it: if your Eagle Artillery still exists in your base, having its tombstone next to it, wouldn’t it feel weird? C’mon, it is still alive in your TH16 and below bases, don’t give a monument for it already!
