Clash of Clans, one of the most beloved games in the past decade, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and the developers are still more than eager to keep working on the game. In a video posted recently on the official Clash of Clans YouTube channel, we got to see a flashback montage of the game through the years and a glimpse of changes that teased the arrival of Town Hall 15.
As we know, there have already been an array of changes brought in such as the addition of the Clan Capital in the game. But the developers are not stopping there as they intend to keep the game as entertaining and engaging as they possibly can in the years to come.
Clash of Clans Town Hall level 15 will release later this year
Among the list of things stated to come in the coming times, the most eye-catching is the announcement of the new Town Hall level 15. The Town Hall updates have always been accompanied by several other updates in the game such as new defenses, new building levels, new spells, new troops, etc. It has also been said that Town Hall 15 won’t be the last level. More levels are in the works and would be released soon.
Supercell will also redesign Builder Base and will add additional Clan Capital content
Supercell has also said that they will focus on redesigning the Builder Base in 2023. As many players have often said, the Builder Base just doesn’t have that aura of attraction to it as the original village does. This kind of defeats the purpose of it being parallel to the original base.
Thus, the developers will work to bring more elements to the Builder Base and redesign it in a way that will make it more integral to the game and capture the interest of the players. The type of redesigning has not been stated yet and could be focused on but not limited to troops, buildings, layouts, etc.
There will also be additional Clan Capital content added as the feature is still very fresh and has a lot of room for new and better content. Home Village content will be added as well. However, it remains unclear what the type of content will be, meaning that we have to wait to find it out.
Final Thoughts
Clash of Clans has come a long way since it was released back in 2012. The mettle of developers in keeping the game fresh and always bringing in new content to not bore the players have played a huge part in the game’s longevity.
The developers are still showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. This is good news for players that we will still get a lot from the game which has been a part of our childhood of many of us. This is a game that many people associate nostalgia with.
