Clash Royale’s March 2026 update is celebrating 10 years of battles, and one of the biggest additions is the brand-new Album Event. This limited-time event brings a completely different progression style where you collect Snippets, complete iconic Scenes from Clash Royale’s history, and unlock major rewards.
I know there are plenty of discussions surrounding this, whether it is a good event, and if the rewards are great. Here’s everything you need to know about how the Album Event works.
What is the Album Event in Clash Royale
The Album Event is a seasonal collection-based event built around Clash Royale’s 10-year journey. Instead of grinding wins for a simple reward track, you collect Snippets, which are pieces of historical Clash Royale artwork.
Each completed image represents a memorable moment from the game’s past decade. The goal is simple: collect all Snippets, complete all Scenes, and finish the entire Album.
How Snippets Work
Each Scene in the Album is made up of 9 Snippets. When you collect all 9, the full image is revealed, and you receive a reward for completing that scene. Snippets come in four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
There are two types of Snippet rewards:
- Random Snippet: Gives you one random Snippet, which could be new or a duplicate.
- Unique Snippet: Guarantees a new Snippet you don’t already own as long as your Album isn’t complete.
Your objective is to collect every Snippet across all scenes. So, the common question is, what happens if you get duplicates? Simply put, duplicates are not wasted.
If you receive a Snippet you already own, it contributes toward a Unique Snippet progress bar. The higher the rarity, the more progress it adds. Once the progress bar fills, you automatically receive a guaranteed Unique Snippet.
How to Earn Snippets
Earning Snippets is actually pretty easy. You can get them through regular gameplay, which is nice because you’re not forced into one specific mode. Daily Battle Rewards give you up to four Snippets per day, so just playing consistently already moves you forward.
On top of that, special events and Clan Voyage also offer Snippets. You’ll also find Snippets available in the Shop and through limited-time offers.
Album Completion Rewards
As you complete each Scene by collecting all nine of its Snippets, you’ll unlock milestone rewards along the way. But the real goal is finishing the entire Album.
Once you complete all the Scenes, you unlock the grand prize: Hero Magic Archer, his exclusive emote, and an Anniversary Tower Skin. That’s a pretty solid reward lineup, especially since one of them is a full Hero. It easily makes this one of the more generous limited-time events Clash Royale has run.
