Another season of Clash Royale has now arrived following the monthly tradition that fans eagerly await as Season 56 brings exciting rewards and content for players to enjoy. As part of the Card Evolutions, we have two evolutions for the first time with Bomber and Wall Breakers Evolution cards, so I won’t be wrong in saying it is an ‘Explosive Valentine’. So, in this article, let me give you a look into what Clash Royale Season 56 February 2024 Update has to offer in terms of new skins, emotes, rewards, and more.

New Card Evolutions: Bomber and Wall Breakers
In Clash Royale, the 12th and 13th evolution cards arrive in the form of Bomber and Wall Breakers. As I mentioned earlier, this is the first time two cards have been announced as evolutions in a single season. Do note that both of these are common cards, and Valkyrie from Season 55 remains the only rare card, yet.
Bomber
Costing only 2 Elixir with a cycle of activation, Bomber Evolution comes with the ability of Bouncy Bomb, which allows each bomb to bounce twice and create an explosion each time, potentially reaching the opponent’s crown tower with strategic positioning if you do so. Do note that Each of the explosions deals the same damage as a normal explosion caused by the Bomber. The Evolved Bomber receives a 25% increase in Hit Points.
Wall Breaker
Wall Breakers come with the evolution ability, Barrel Walkers, introduces a two-stage attack. In the first stage, they roll toward the target as barrel walkers, and upon depletion, shift to the second stage as weaker Runners. The Runners create an explosion upon defeat, beneficial for clearing swarms. Requiring 2 cycles to activate evolution, one in every three deploys will result in an evolved Wall Breaker. Compared to Bombers, the evolved Wall Breakers gain a significant +50% damage boost.
New Tower Skins
In this update, one new Tower Skin has been officially confirmed that can be acquired through the Pass Royale. The Explosive Valentine tower skin is unlocked at Tier 48 of the Gold Tier in Pass Royale. I’ve been quite surprised by the lack of tower skins recently.
Emotes and Banners
Once again, six new emotes will be coming. All the new emotes will be based on the Valentine theme as well as the new Evolution Cards. We will only have 2 Banners for Diamond Pass Royale owners, 8 in the Banner Box, 2 free from Community Challenges, and not any in the Season Shop.
Season Shop and Card Boosts
The Season Shop has a decent amount of rewards on offer, which can be obtained by exchanging season tokens. Along with the cards on offer, I see banners and emotes being worthwhile investments, as we have cards in Bomber, Wall Breakers, Skeleton Dragon, and Witch available in the Season Shop for 500 tokens apiece. Wild Shards will also make an appearance in the shop for 6000 tokens.
Card Evolution enthusiasts can find Bats Shards in the Season Shop, which can be purchased thrice starting from 5,000 tokens which will add the same value to each purchase. Four cards have been picked for boost this time around Bomber, Wall Breakers, Skeleton Dragon, and Witch.
Balance Update
Currently, the balance update for the season hasn’t been confirmed, so I will do so in the same space once it has been done.
