The first season of the year 2023 was the Frost Festival Season 43. Themed after the Ice Golem, the King Tower skin featured a nice design of the blue-eyed troop. The princess tower skin, however, was plain in her design and isn’t very attractive compared to the King.
Rabbit Tower

For the Lunar New Year, Clash Royale always has the best tower skins. The Rabbit Tower skin came along with the Ice Golem tower skin but was in the shop for purchase. The King Tower featured the Lunar Rabbit performing in what seems to be a theatre, where the show for princess tower skin hasn’t been opened yet.
Valentines

Love is in the air and so are the Tower skins! Designed with the love of pink, Season 44 Love and Magic features a dream skin for all romantics, which was designed in such a way that it complements the Prince’s Dream arena.
Magic Archer Tower
- Season: 44

Love in the wild? Or the Magic Archer is against the fancy pink? As opposed to the Valentine skin, this jungly Magic Archer tower skin is more wildly designed. The color is jungle green with a wood accent, giving off game-in-the-wild vibes.
Party Protector
- Season: 45
- Release: Pass Royale
Clash Royale Season 45 Goblin Party March 2023 update also came with two tower skins, which were based on the party theme. The Pass Royale got updated with the Party Protector skin, which had a tropical theme with a cake in the deco.
Disco Defense
- Season: 45
- Release: Shop
In the shop arrived the Disco Defense. Want to have a good dance? Then this is it! The front of the King Tower has a crown disco light shining out, so maybe there’s a secret door where we can attend the party? The princess tower has a star, which isn’t shining but looks great too.
Super Archer Tower

- Release: Pass Royale
The Season 46 Boot Camp update arrived with two skins once again. The fabrics are the highlight of the Archer Tower skin, which looks great in terms of the color combination. The King Tower especially is a show stealer, while the Princess Tower looks a bit stale sitting beside while comparing.
Boot Camp

In the Boot Camp skin which is available in the shop, a puppet is stitched to the Princess Tower itself while the King Tower’s gold design with an emblem steals the show thanks to the rich gold design. However, there is no harm in saying both look on par with each other.
Hog Head
- Season: 47
- Release: Pass Royale
Following the trend of the two tower skins, Season 47 Books of Clash May 2023 Update arrived with the Hog Head skin for the Pass Royale. Featuring the Hog as the theme, his hammer, and his face were the attractive features in the tower skins.
Book Barricade
- Season: 47

The skin in the shop that arrived is book-themed, where the King Tower has three books stacked while the Princess Tower has a book full of pages turned upside down. A little bland compared to the one we had in the Pass.
Heavy Metal

Breaking the trend of having two skins every season update, the Season 48 ‘Get Ready for Evolution’ update arrived with only one skin, Heavy Metal, for the Pass Royale. The King Tower was fantastic in its design with the skull and the speakers giving a majestic vibe while the princess skin was less worked on for sure.
Dark Elixir

Clash Royale brings back its two-skin pattern in the Season 49 Evolution Origins, with the first one being the Dark Elixir tower skin. A pretty simple one to be fair, with the King Tower being given more emphasis on detail.
Rock Guitar
- Season: 49

The shop skin is definitely one of the best skins available in the game, being a guitar-themed one. The color scheme is refreshing, and the princess tower actually gets a good amount of commitment from the design team, with the buttons being a major highlight.
 Clash-A-Rama King
- Season: 50
- Release: Pass Royale
The fiftieth season of the game arrived with the Clash-a-Rama theme which is a repeat of the popular season once arrived. Both the skins are simplistic in design, and the first skin has a king on the King Tower whereas the Princess Tower looks pretty bland with three to four colours used.
Cartoon Castle
- Season: 50
- Release: Shop
Once again, this particular tower skin stands out as the superior option, potentially hinting at a recurring pattern where shop skins hold an advantage over those obtained through Pass Royale. The skin’s captivating cartoonish aesthetic effectively aligns with the Season 50 theme of Clash Royale.
