- Clash Royale September 2025 Season is here, with the 75th season titled “Back to Drool”.
- Vines is added as the new Epic Spell card to the game.
- Baby Dragon Evolution is also part of the update, with unlockable via Pass Royale.
Clash Royale returns this September with a playful yet “veiny” update as Season 75, “Back to Drool,” takes over the arenas. This dragon-themed season celebrates fresh evolutions with a brand-new spell card that is sure to shake up the meta. Here’s a full breakdown of everything arriving this month.
Clash Royale Season 75 ‘Back to Drool’ September 2025 Update Overview
New Spell: Vines
Clash Royale introduces Vines, the 121st card in the game, and an Epic spell costing 3 Elixir. When cast, Vines targets the three highest-HP units or buildings within its 2.5-tile radius, stunning them, dealing tick-based damage, and even grounding air troops temporarily.
The mechanics of rooting both ground and air troops are pretty strong. You can unlock Vines starting September 1, with a free claim available through the Supercell Store.
New Card Evolution: Baby Dragon
Leading the charge for Season 75 is the Baby Dragon Evolution. It’s the third dragon evolution after Inferno Dragon and Electro Dragon, leaving only Skeleton Dragons without an evolved form. Unlike past updates where stats got tweaked, this evolution focuses on a new ability called Friendly Drag.

While the Evolved Baby Dragon is attacking, it generates a gust of wind around itself that speeds up allied troops by 50% while slowing down enemies by 30%. This effect lasts up to six seconds after combat if the dragon survives, and can be used once every two cycles.

There’s also an exclusive Tower Skin that has been officially confirmed for the Pass Royale with this update.
Dragons Fest Skin is unlocked once you have reached Tier 10 of the Premium Tier in the Pass Royale. In addition, an Emote and a bunch of Lucky Drops with higher-star chances. Plus, you get premium perks like a Golden Name, Free Challenge Rejoins, and Premium Clan Gifts.

Multiple banners will be a part of the update. On top of that, several Baby Dragon evolution emotes are being added. As usual, several cards are getting a boost throughout, including Tornado, Baby Dragon, Balloon, and Golem.
Balance Changes for Clash Royale Season 75
Here’s a full breakdown of the nerfs, buffs, and adjustments.
Nerfs
Furnace Evolution
- Hot Spawn Speed: 1.8s → 2.4s (-33%)
Furnace Evolution has been one of the strongest cards in the game. This nerf only affects its Evolution form to reduce the gap between it and the normal version.
Spirit Empress
- Hitpoints: 1318 → 1192 (-10%)
Spirit Empress rose too strongly in the skies after her recent improvements. Lowering her hitpoints keeps her identity as a long-range Flying Troop while making her more reliant on team support.
Minions
- Hit Speed: 1s → 1.1s (-10%)
Minions gained too much consistency after their last range buff. This slight hit speed nerf brings their DPS back in line while preserving their role as quick aerial attackers.
Cannoneer
- Hit Speed: 2.1s → 2.2s (-5%)
Cannoneer turned out stronger than expected after his last buff. A small rollback to his hit speed balances him out and keeps him from overshadowing other Tower Troops.
Buffs
Little Prince
- Ability Knockback: 2 → 2.5 (+25%)
- Ability Damage: 230 → 256 (+11%)
The Little Prince now delivers a stronger ability to match other Champions, giving him more impact and presence in battle.
Goblinstein
- Monster Hitpoints: 2304 → 2385 (+4%)
Goblinstein’s Monster was underwhelming compared to his ability. A slight HP buff helps it contribute more during fights.
Dark Prince
- Damage: 248 → 266 (+7%)
- Charge Damage: 496 → 532 (+7%)
Dark Prince lagged behind other 4-cost tanks like Valkyrie and Skeleton King. These buffs enhance his offensive power, making him a sturdier and more reliable option.
Adjustments
Goblin Curse
- Damage Amplification: 20% → 0% (-100%)
- Damage/Sec: 30 → 35 (+17%)
- Crown Tower Damage/Sec: 6 → 10 (+67%)
Goblin Curse is reworked into a dedicated anti-swarm card. By removing the damage amplification and boosting its direct DPS, it’s now less versatile against high-HP troops but much more effective against groups.
