Activision has revealed some additional rewards that you can unlock just by playing the COD Vanguard Open Beta. One of those rewards is a new epic character in Call of Duty Mobile. Sergeant Arthur Kingsley is an upcoming character and operator featuring in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Kingsley is also slated to feature in other PC titles Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone as an Operator in the form of a Vanguard pre-order bonus apart from COD Mobile. As the leader of Task Force One, the Special Forces group at the center of the epic campaign, Kingsley is exactly the kind of Operator you need in the field in the game. For his brave actions during Operation Tonga, Kingsley is assigned as the leader of Task Force One, the Special Forces group at the center of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s epic campaign.
How to get Arthur Kingsley for free in Call of Duty Mobile
By playing the Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta, you can unlock Arthur Kingsley for use in Call of Duty Mobile. Here’s how you can claim your reward by playing the Open Beta.
The COD Vanguard open beta will run throughout two weekends and for three different groups of players. Early access users on PlayStation will be able to play between September 10th – September 13th, 2021 while Xbox users will have to wait an extra week. Moreover, the Open Beta kicks off on September 18th, 2021. The complete dates for the Vanguard beta are as follows:
- September 10th – September 13th: PlayStation exclusive early access
- September 16th – September 17th: Xbox + Battle.net PC early access, PlayStation open beta
- September 18th – September 20th: Open Beta all platforms
1. Link your Call of Duty account in COD Mobile
First, you need to link the Call of Duty account in your Call of Duty Mobile account. You can do that from Settings. Tap the Call of Duty button from the options provided. You’ll be redirected and a browser window will open. Enter your Call of Duty account email address and password and tap Login Now.
2. Get Call of Duty: Vanguard on the platform of your choice
Next, you need to download and play the Call of Duty: Vanguard open beta through the same Activision Account. It doesn’t matter what platform you’re on or what day you play. So long as you play on the same Activision Account you linked your Call of Duty Mobile profile to, you’re eligible to receive this epic reward in the game.
3. Get the Unique code from your Email inbox
Check your e-mail address tied to your Activision Account for your unique code to unlock Arthur Kingsley. Codes will be sent the week after the Beta ends. The e-mail should be in your inbox but may appear in another folder. So check all the folders thoroughly. Players are requested to wait until November 1st, 2021 before reaching out to Activision Support if they do not receive Arthur Kingsley’s character in the game.
4. Redeem your Unique code
Once you receive a code, visit the Redemption Center and enter your UID (found in your Call of Duty Mobile profile, under your username) as well as that unique code to redeem it.
5. Claim your free character in the game
Head to Call of Duty Mobile’s in-game mailbox to claim your reward, and dive into the Multiplayer and Battle Royale with this master of espionage and deception. However, make sure you are on the latest version of the Call of Duty Mobile app in order to successfully redeem the code.
