Activision was scheduled to formally announce Season 7 update of COD Mobile in early June, but the developer has changed plans in response to recent events in the world. Activision’s Statement

Activision made an official statement regarding their stand in this “Call for End to Racism”.

Activision’s Statement.

Call of Duty Mobile made the official announcement regarding the updates on their Twitter handle.

“While we all look forward to playing the new seasons of Modern Warfare, Warzone and Call of Duty Mobile, now is not the time. We are moving the launches of Modern Warfare season 4 and Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 to later dates. Right now, it’s time for those speaking up for equality, justice, and change to be seen and heard. We stand alongside you”

So, as it stands COD Mobile Season 7 update is still due for arrival. Developers are yet to mention any official release date. As a result of this, players get additional time for completing their seasonal quests for the Wild West season. Also, the season 7 beta server is ongoing and will be there for some more time now. So, Beta server players can check more details about what is coming up in the next season.

Others in this Movement

Not only Activision Blizzard, “Call for End to Racism” has found many supporters. Giant gaming organizations such as EA, Sony, Xbox, Riot Games, Naughty Dog, Star Wars, Marvel, and more have now joined this movement. It will be a thing to watch where this movement goes in the future.
