- It is expected to feature high quality character art, stunning visuals, and an emotional storyline.
- TikiTaka Studio, known for Soul Strike and Arcana Tactics, is behind this project.
Com2uS is expected to launch it’s new idle RPG based on SHIFTUP’s renowned IP, Destiny Child, with a rumored global release in 2026 on mobile. This project is being developed by Com2uS subsidiary,TikiTaka Studio, after the publisher officially signed an agreement with SHIFTUP in 2024.
Get ready to experience stunning art and an emotional story once again
So, this new project looks like a revival of Destiny Child IP, whose original title ended service in September 2023. And if you’re unaware of it, Destiny Child was a turn-based RPG with real-time battles and Live 2D characters, loved by many. Though, this reiteration will lean towards idle RPG format to attract more audience.
Now, according to community figure ShiftUpWorld, we can expect it to retain high quality character illustrations, stunning visual effects, and even an emotional story similar to the original experience. And if the team truly deliver on these, I personally think new gen fans will love the game even more.
But we can expect a lot from the game as TikiTaka Studio is involved, since they’ve already proven their visual production capability with titles like Soul Strike and Arcana Tactics. That said, details about the game is still less, and even it’s name is not revealed yet. So, stay tuned for more updates!
