Devsisters has announced a Closed Beta Test (CBT) for their upcoming urban fantasy action title, CookieRun: OvenSmash, with the date to be announced in mid-April 2025. You can register for the CBT until April 15, 2025.
This test will be region-locked to Korea and other select regions. Devsisters held its first online event ‘Dev Now 2022, where they revealed various details about this game, including gameplay features, character list, and more.

CookieRun: OvenSmash is an urban fantasy PvP action title set in the vibrant Platter City, where you can engage in exciting 3-minute 3v3 matches. You can choose from a variety of unique characters, each bringing its flavor to the game. Plus, you can select your preferred arena for the match.
In the lively Platter Plaza, cookie clans from different backgrounds come together. You can look forward to:
- Café Fruit Bomber: Fruit Punch Cookie, Melon Soda Cookie, and Ice Pop Cookie.
- The Grinders: Jerky Cookie, Bacon Roll Cookie, and Black Pudding Cookie.
- The Lactoses: Brie Cheese Cookie, Camembert Cookie, and String Cheese Cookie.
I am particularly excited to meet DJ Miya, last season’s Oven Crown Cup champion, who now serves as the city’s ambassador and a beloved idol. Beyond the characters, the game also offers various game modes, including Wanted Star mode, Battle Royale Mode, Treasure Hunt Mode, and more.
How to register for the CookieRun: OvenSmash closed beta CBT
The good news is that a CBT is planned, with dates to be announced in mid-April. With this upcoming CBT, the devs aim to test game stability and verify content. Do note that you may encounter occasional server instability, technical issues, and application crashes.
However, this CBT will be region-locked to Korea and select regions, with the complete list of supported regions to be announced later. Here’s how you can apply for CookieRun: OvenSmash CBT:
- First, visit their official website.
- Next, click on Pre-register Now.
- There, choose either Android or iOS and enter your email address or App Store account mail.
- Now, agree to the terms and then tap Send Code.
- Verify your email by entering the received code.
- With this, your registration will be complete.
If you are an iOS user, you will need to download the game via Apple’s TestFlight, while Android users will receive a dedicated download link through the Google Play Store. If selected, you will notified via email. Keep in mind that after the test ends, all game data will be reset, and your progress won’t carry over.
