Da Kun Gaming (DKG) is crowned as the champions of the Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021

Becomes the first team to qualify for the Wild Rift World Championship

Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 has now concluded with Da Kun Gaming (DKG) becoming the champions of the tournament. In the Grand Finals of Spark Invitational 2021, they beat TFC by 4-1 and claimed the silverware with complete dominance. Organized by Tencent Games, this LAN event of this esports tournament was held in Shanghai, China.

Crowned as the champion, DKG is the first team to qualify for the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021. The champion team from China lost only 2 games on their run throughout the entire tournament. Winning this esports tournament will fetch the team a total of $31,000 prize money to take back home.

The runner-up team, Team For Champion (TFC), will be also taking a decent amount of $18,600 with them. The third and fourth-placed team was awarded $8,000 and 5th-8th placed took $3,100. Along with DKG, Team For Champion also secured a spot to participate in the Chinese League Qualifier.

In the grand finals, DKG won the first three matches consecutively showcasing a one-sided play and firmed their position for the title already. The team didn’t let TFC build any resistance as they have shown some unstoppable actions throughout their journey.

However, TFC managed to win the 4th round in this epic battle in the finals but that wasn’t enough to stop DKG from taking the trophy home. Furthermore, DKG won the last match again, making it a 4-1 win against their rivals TFC.

The finals were played among sixteen teams in the group stage and the top 8 teams advanced to the playoff stage. DKG made their way to the grand finals by beating Qing Jiu Club in 3-0 in the quarterfinals and Young Blood by 4-1 in the semifinals.

Team For Champion (TFC), the other finalist, stepped up to the grand finals after winning against TYLOO by 3-1 in the quarters and Nova Esports by 4-1 in the semifinals.


Da Kun Gaming can be a top prospect in the Wild Rift World Championship

Spark Invitational is the first official tournament for the Mainland China servers featuring 16 non-LPL teams. The tournament started on 17th August 2021 and ended on 28th August 2021 with DKG being the champions. Moreover, DKG, being the champion, really shows the Wild Rift esports industry that they’re also a strong contender in the upcoming World Championship after their brilliant performance in this tournament.
