- Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a roguelike spin-off of the popular FPS with isometric, single-player survivor-style gameplay.
- The game offers a complete experience with diverse biomes, four classes, plenty of gear, missions, upgrades, and more.
- You can try the first two biomes for free before unlocking the full game with a one-time purchase.
Ghost Ship Publishing has announced the launch of their survivor-like auto-shooter, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, now available on both Android and iOS for $9.99. Developed by Funday Games, the game was initially revealed back in September, following its solid launch on PC and Xbox Series.
Dive deep into Hoxxes IV and mow down the bugs as a lone dwarf
So, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, the hit roguelike spin-off of the beloved FPS, has finally arrived on mobile. This time, it’s a single-player experience with isometric survivor-style gameplay where you take on endless waves of grotesque Glyphids on Hoxxes IV, mine resources, and earn upgrades to stay alive.
I’ve been waiting for this since its announcement, and I’ll try it for sure since it offers a free trial. Like, the idea of exploring biomes like Azure Weald, trying out four unique character classes, and gearing up with new Armor, Weapons, Mods, Canisters, and Gadgets sounds fun. And having Bosco as our sidekick again is great.
You can clear various missions, earn rewards, and more
And besides the auto-shooter gameplay, I especially like the variety of mission types, including the new Escort Duty missions. Not only that, with procedurally generated caves and unpredictable enemy waves, each run feels different and more enjoyable.
That said, some fans might miss the original first-person view, but I think this top-down perspective is also great. And I believe the game will be great on mobile too, as it offers both portrait and landscape mode, controller support, and brings the full Deep Rock experience in a polished manner.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is now available on both Android and iOS for $9.99. You can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. And there’s a Deluxe Edition too, with After Hours and Supporter skin packs, costing $14.99.
