Blizzard Entertainment has announced a super collaboration between their beloved hack-and-slash ARPG, Diablo Immortal, and DOOM: The Dark Ages. Titled The Slayers Reign, this limited-time crossover event kicks off on April 16 and runs until May 12, 2026, bringing a reimagined Survivors Bane mode, new Legendary Gem, boss encounter, cosmetics, and more.

So, at the heart of the crossover event is the revamped version of Survivor’s Bane, now mixed with DOOM’s fast-paced and aggressive gameplay. So, you can look forward to
- Slayer’s Bane mode with DOOM-inspired combat mechanics.
- Using iconic weapons like Shield Saw, Dreadmace, and Super Shotgun.
- Access to six unique abilities designed around aggression and momentum.
- You can use skills ranging from spinning shields to ones that let you perform heavy strikes.
And what makes this mode even better is the inclusion of DOOM’s most recognizable enemies and an ultimate boss. Here are the new enemies and bosses:
- Imps will appear across the battlefield as common enemies.
- Cyberdemon joins as the main boss encounter.
- So, you can enjoy an intense boss battle using new Slayer skills and abilities.
Diablo Immortal × DOOM collab: New Legendary Gem
The collab brings a new Legendary Gem inspired by DOOM, called The Crucible. This gem provides powerful finishing effects and also stacks damage boosts, and I personally can’t wait to try it out.
So, this 2-Star Gem activates when your enemies drop below a certain health, letting you easily eliminate them with some extra damage. Moreover, by taking down enemies like this, you also build up Slayer’s Rage, which further increases your damage and movement speed while also stacking for stronger effects.
Diablo Immortal × DOOM collab: Cosmetics, Companions, and Rewards
Alongside the gameplay and new gem, the update also adds a new progression system, cosmetics, and collectibles inspired by DOOM. And here are the key additions:
- You can get the free, exclusive DOOM: The Dark Ages-inspired weapon skins forged with Argent Energy.
- Slayer’s iconic Praetor Armor, the Ruthless Hellwalker, through the Phantom Market.
- New Familiars like Cacodemon and Serrat mount are also joining the game.
And what’s a collab without some rewards, right? Don’t worry, as you can obtain the following rewards throughout this crossover event:
- The new Crucible Legendary Gem.
- 1 Legendary Crests and 6 additional Crests.
- 5 Emojis and 10 Set Gear.
- And, 10 Sentinel Forged Armory Weapon Cosmetic.
