Not too long ago, a crypto-currency based on the Shiba Inu dog meme popped up and became quite the internet sensation. Soon after it was promoted by Elon Musk himself, who is one richest people on earth at that point in time. The currency had gained a lot of value and people even became millionaires off their investment into the Dogecoin. Although, then it did dip in value and there were losses for people, as well for those who still held on. This is the usual crypto pump and dump business. Now, there is a new AR game, DOGEMON GO, which has been released which will let you earn Dogecoins.
Hunt Dogemons in an AR world

Well anyway, it is now clear that the makers did ride on the Doge wave and actually turned it into a game! DOGEMON GO is a very obvious parody of the popular game Pokemon Go. This title will let people actually hunt for Dogecoins! This is again similar to Pokémon Go, where players hunt for Pokémons and collect them. Instead of Pokémons, this game has an abundance of “Dogemons”. Hunting them might lead the player to actual Dogecoins that you can trade and earn from.
An unique combination of game, meme and crypto-culture
The game seems to have gained a decent amount of players and the game makes use of Augmented Reality (AR) to deliver an interactive experience. People might earn a little from this, looking at the condition of Dogecoins right now. Overall, it’s a decent albeit slightly unpolished-looking game that does blend games, memes, and crypto culture to make something niche and creative.
The game is officially launched on the App Store on iOS. But Android players, for now, have to make do with a .apk file available on the official website. For Android users, people can get a .apk file here. An official Google Play Store download option is present on the site too. Although, it isn’t probably working, since the game isn’t available on the Play Store yet.
